2023 NBA Draft Megathread

In every draft there is a Jamal Murray, Jimmy Butler, and probably Nikola Jokic. Did you know he was drafted in the second round?!

Butler wasnt even drafted iirc. Maybe it was also second round I dont know

He's talking about later years of Dok in Kansas. Dok passing later years in Kansas > Cam passing last year. At least that's how I'm reading his post.

I agree. Thats why its apples to oranges. Just a weird comparison.

Please change it back after the draft. The 40 under water photo is one of the best things about this place.

Fair enough. Will do though i may need a reminder.
Underwater 40oz drinkin messes with the ol memory hard drive. Lots of stuff gets accidentally deleted.

A weird stat for all those late-first-second rounder guards/wings that turn into go-to options in the league after being projected as role players - rebounding... Jimmy Butler, Kris Middleton, Desmond Bane... all had high rebounding numbers - over 6-7 rbs per 40...

What about the time the jazz drafted Dok who was projected second round prospect who the jazz openly admired he was second on their entire draft board?
Yeah the guy that made that call got fired… there’s some new people involved. I’ve said it frequently in other years… there is some luck and all I really care is that the thought process is sound.

Podz. 9 rebounds per game. Per 40 would probably be 10

No Ceilings dropped a pod on Whitmore today. Interested in it as someone who isn't as high on Whitmore as others

Locke comped JHS to D'Lo which I can see. I get the JHS athleticism concerns, but I think he's clearly a better athlete than DLo w/ a bigger stronger body.
