2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Here's a hypothetical... You can have any 2 of the consensus 4-8(Whitmore, Walker, Black, Amen, Ausar), but you have to give up #9, #16, LAL pick, 2025 CLE pick(unprotected), 2025 MIN pick(unprotected)

Q1: do you do it?
Q2: who are the 2 players you want to get?
I would if you eliminated one of the unprotected future picks and I would take Cam and a Thompson, probably Ausar

I will say I'm pretty impressed by The Locked on Mock Draft. Locked On generally doesnt have the best production quality, but this production is fairly well produced.
Agreed. Watching it now and it is pretty good and entertaining so far. Are you happy with the trade Locke made?

Seems like the Jazz should have gotten more from trading with OKC, but IDK how much more.

I love this trade if we take JHS at 12. If we dont though and we passed up on Black, I would think it was a poor trade.

On the pod I don't like the cheesy background people crowd noise but whatevs. I am not on the video and say what you want out of Locke... he has far outkicked his coverage with what he has put together... and the dude is a worker/grinder.

I just wish they would give their host more professional sound equipment. I have no idea how much this stuff cost, but I'm pretty sure it's gotten fairly inexpensive to have a quality sound produced podcast nowadays and Locked On still sounds like they are recording in 2015.

That is the biggest thing I’ve noticed. Sounds like they’re recording on an iPhone.

To me it's kind of shocking how bad Locke's own sound is for someone whose job it is to sound good and someone who's made a career in radio. I would have guessed he would have that part sorted...

Could someone summarize the mock up to this point?

1. Wemby
2. Scoot
3. Miller
4. Amen
5. Ausar
6. Dick
7. Walker
8. Whitmore
9. Jazz trade 9 for 12+our own 2024 pick.
10. Black
11. Magic trade 11, Chuma Okeke and Bol Bol to NYK for Hartenstein and 2 second round picks. WTF? Like... WHAT THE ACTUAL FFFFFFFFFFF?
