2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

The Suns kind of have to keep Ayton.

He's not great, but they have nobody else who can even remotely fill his role, and they wouldn't get anybody who could in return for him in a trade.

Beals deal is anything but. He is one of the most overrated guards in the league and paid like a superstar. It's no suprise getting off his deal was all WAS wanted.
No one forced Washington to sign him to the new contract, if they were smart they would have traded him with a couple of years on his old contract and started a rebuild. Similar to what the Jazz did with Gobert.

Then problem with the Suns is how do you fill out your roster. People need to remember that basketball is only played with one ball. So we will see if they can jell as a team.

Well unless they are in seven years, how do the swaps help the Wizards? They are going to suck and the Suns will be contenders.
Well they probably won't, most likely. Unless they find some way to wait to consummate the trade so that the 2030 pick becomes swappable, they only will get the 2024 (absolutely not way in hell will WAS get anything) and 2026 (probably not far out enough unless something crazy happens in WAS) swaps

Give me a Thompson please. I'm assuming it could be Ausur but who can believe all the smoke leading up to this draft.

It all depends on Indiana -- who they take or if they trade the pick. The first 5 picks could be Wemby, Scoot, Miller, Cam and Jarace. If Black goes at 8, then a Thompson or Hendricks will fall to 9.

Jazz could conceivably trade up to 7 and take a Thompson or Black.

It is super easy to fill out a roster when you already have your stars. I'm guessing they bring back Craig and Okogie who are solid defensive role players for them. That gives them a solid 7 man rotation. Then add another guy with the tax payer exception and there are always some decent role players available for the minimum that want to chase a ring.

What are you talking about? Please explain their path to getting depth.
Depth doesnt really matter all that much in the playoffs if you stars stay healthy.

As long as they are healthy and dont have to face the Nuggets in their bracket they could make a deep playoff run. Those are two big ifs though.

I mean Booker and Durant were healthy and the Nuggets still made light work of them.
