I kind of feel like Whitmore is more risky than Bilal.
You’re just saying all kinds of **** now lol.

basically just throwing **** out there to see what will stick and rile up the masses. You’re just saying all kinds of **** now lol.
I’d do 9 + Future First (25 Cle or LAL pick)I also think Detroit should just trade down. Sounds like at least one of the guys they’re considering at 5 will be available at 9.
Would you trade 9 + 16 + a future first for 5 to get Whitmore?
I would prefer to do that as well of course just wondering where the limit is for people here. For the record I would do the deal I outlined just because I think we should go get our guy assuming he is our guy.I’d do 9 + Future First (25 Cle or LAL pick)
Interesting, my point was that I would be willing to give up a better asset to move up. I assume that the future first would be more valuable than 16 because it has a higher potential upside, but maybe that’s not how teams would consider itI would prefer to do that as well of course just wondering where the limit is for people here. My only concern with Whitmore is he might be a crazy chucker. Like just a total, absolute gunner that is kind of a dick or something.I would prefer to do that as well of course just wondering where the limit is for people here. Bilal has shown he can be a high level role player as an 18 year old.
Whitmore was a 1 dimensional athlete on a bad team. I think he much more raw than Bilal.
Whitmore has more potential due to the scoring upside being massive, but Bilal has the higher floor because of the 3&D attributes
Whitmore was also bad off the dribble.Bilal can’t shoot though. He went 1/15 off dribble-pull ups. He went 1/14 from mid-range overall. He shot 5/21 from 3 in the playoffs. He shot 59.5% from free-throw this year.
Just screams massive bust potential to me.
Whitmore was also bad off the dribble.
Yeah, and Bilal is a high level off ball cutter and can actually pass without stalling the offense. That is correct but Whitmore at least has an elite offensive skill. He was the best in all of college basketball in points per drive. He is an elite finisher at the rim as well.

Now do big board based on risk.Big Board Based Solely off Potential:
- Wemby
- Amen
- Ausar
- GG
- Whitmore
- Walker
- Miller
- Whitehead
- Lively
- Black
- JHS
- George
- Coulibaly
- Howard
- Lewis
- NSJ
- Bufkin
- Hendricks
- JaqueZ
- Wallace
He had some great games in the playoffs and played better than expectedIf Bilal struggled this bad with all of the defensive attention Wemby took away from him I don’t feel very good about his long-term prospects. I just don’t see it at all. He’s young and has insane measurables and people get all excited with that I get it.
I think Black could go as high as 5th or 6th. And he’s still my favorite. Ex-Jazz assistant coach Gordie Chies summed him up. “Yeah, Penny Hardaway,” he said, comparing Black (or what he thinks he‘ll develop into) to Hardaway. “He (Black) is tall. He’s good. I like him. I like his game. He’s a tall point guard. He’s instinctive. He knows what he’s doing. When he penetrates, he thinks pass right now. He’s bouncing in transition. Also, he can steal the ball. Also, what he does—he’s a defensive player. He’s got quick hands. When someone drives to the middle of the floor, he can pick their pocket.”
But can a Penny style be played at the college level? He isn't even remotely close to Penny Hardaway in style of play.
