2023 NBA Draft Megathread

So listening to Duncan and Hollinger talk on JHS and I’m even more convinced he’s a guy we don’t want. He’s Johnny Davis 2.0.

Call me crazy but I would do 9 for Hunter and 15.
It’s not crazy. I think they could get to 7 if Hunter is really on the table. I’d be more interested in Murray… guessing they want more than a swap for him though.

They are not trading Hunter smh why even entertain these things when they are longshots?
The Jazz are going to get a decent high floor prospect if they want one at 9 and there is no need to trade back and have less team control.
If anything we will use future assets to leap over the teams interested in Hendricks and Walker so we can get one of them. If Cam falls to ORL and they don't take him I wouldn't draft him at 16 as there must be something really wrong. He is a top 5 prospect in this draft without question. I think the ****s at espn and cbs are getting fed more smoke in this draft than the usual. I don't believe what they are hearing is at all believable. I would bet Black for example is not going to be gone before 9 and there is no chance Cam falls past Detroit

It will be interesting to see who the Jazz pick with the later pick if they end up keeping it. All the chatter we hear is more about the potential lottery prospects.

We havent heard the Jazz tied to anyone like CIssoko, Rupert, Jaquez, Lewis (though he's a popular mocked pick to the Jazz because I think he's one of the confirmed guys we have worked out), etc.

If the Jazz can't move up from 9, I'd take Bilal and trade up from 16 for Bufkin. I'd like the Jazz to get Walker, but a Bilal/Bufkin draft would suit me just fine. I think both those two are going to be impact players.

Miller is another one of those guys I worry about his ability to translate to the NBA just because he's so damn upright.

Interesting looking back on past Ignite guys who havent panned out.

Isiah Todd just got traded to the Suns. He had a decent year w/ the Ignite (Miller stat's were markedly better), but he played in the G-League the following two seasons for the Wizard's program and he got worse each year. He was picked 31st overall. I remember him having a decent amount of buzz on this forum.

I think maybe NBA teams arent to the point were they full respect the Ignite numbers and it's still mostly an eye test thing w/ that program.
