2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

Steph Curry just got more dangerous on the offensive side and I didn't think I could say that, especially at this stage of his career.

Remember, Curry plays a ton off the ball running through a million screens. He will now have CP3 and Dray as hubs for those actions (who are both all-time passers at their positions who provide different vantage points and styles).
I think Paul is cooked.

I kinda wanted Poole, but RECEIVING picks? Damn...

I guess the Jazz didn't have the player to send, ultimately. And since this is shaping up to the The Last Dance 2, it makes plenty of sense.

Wizards can trade cp3 that quickly after acquiring him? I didn't think those shenanigans were allowed.
As I understand it, the first initial trade isn't official, so this may just be tacking this trade onto that one. However, I think even if it was official, Paul could be traded by himself - he just couldn't be packaged with another player for 60 days. I may be way off here though...

Trade wasn't official to my knowledge. So they can keep tinkering (there is usually more flexibility in making everything one giant simultaneous trade than multiple trades).

basically the best off ball player in the history of the league.

I would've bet anything CP3 was going to end up with either the Lakers or Clippers.

I think Paul being a high-level starter/closer/full-time player is over. He can't be ridden like that anymore but Monty Williams made sure to test that out and let everyone know.
Maybe use him like the jazz used stockton at the end there. Seems like stockton was getting about 20-25 minutes per game in his last year or two and was still kinda effective.
