THT opts in… We pick up KOs option… then do a sign and trade with Toronto to send them back “something” for their player walking out… then all the down payments can be fulfilled in FVV.

I think he turned down 4/113 from what I understand… that was in season so maybe it’s not true and things change but I think it will be in the 4/120 range… which is pricey for sure.

If true he likely just wants out of Toronto at that point. Technically the absolute max he can get is 4/159.5M. I don’t think he comes close to that but could easily see 4/120M.

And maybe his market isn't as frothy as he thinks and he lands at 4/100M but I think that would be to a market like the Lakers and not necessarily something he'd take from us. 100-120M is fair... so if NBA FA rules hold true he's getting 140M lol.

No, Ainge is targeting size at every position and that is something FVV does not have.

Tony has told us this and I believe it... JZ also told us we are looking for "good basketball players" and I also believe that. I am not saying that we will get FVV but I'm also not gonna say it won't happen just because Tony keeps repeating a line I am sure he is hearing. In an ideal world that is what you'd get but I also know Ainge has traded for IT, Kyrie, Kemba and drafted guys like Rozier and Pritchard. I don't think FVV's size is a complete deal breaker. He is a very good defender, which is the main knock on small guards.

We could structure a deal with FVV that frontloads it a little to ensure it is more tradeable later... not by a lot but a little.

It could go 32, 30.5, 29.0, 28... cap rises 10% per year over that period. 30m looks more like 22-23M by 2025-2026
