Starting PG?

I think a Utah Jazz may be dismissing the idea of a floor general point guard.

I would find it a lot more daunting having to face a five man roster that could all dribble pass and shoot.

Don’t you guys think that would be a lot harder for defenses to manage?

I think the idea is to slide somebody in the one that has size and speed advantages for defending. And I see a few people on our roster who fit the piece already.

I think we’ll have 3-5 rotation guys who all bring the ball down. Not just the point guard, and his backup

Millard’s contract would cripple us down the road. You’re sacrificing your future to win now. Someone will trade for him and it won’t end well for them. Love the guy, but he won’t move the needle to contending as much as the Jazz need to justify the future costs.

I would not rule out DLO, even if he has **** the bed every time in the playoffs.
Nah. No interest there at all - unless it’s just a one year deal (or 2 years with a team option on the 2nd season) to use up the cap space and add another expiring contract. Think we’d be better off looking to extend Markkanen with the space if that’s our big move.

Don't put that evil into the universe please.

Hmm, I guess I missed the first part. You talking about the Chekkets interview?
I'm out of state, but honestly so surprised to hear Spence still has a show. He shouldn't. One DUI is a mistake. Three or four or whatever he's up to now is reckless disregard for human life.

So which is it? Do you want a floor general PG or a team w/ 5 players who can pass dribble shoot? Because the latter means the former is much less of a priority.

Just pay me the league minimum and I'll play the point. Problem solved. You want me to pass? I'll pass. You want me to be aggressive on defense? I'll be aggressive.

So apparently Houston is looking at a 2/84M deal for FVV. My max offer would be 3/105 and we'd likely need to work a sign and trade in there... I'd consider doing Sexton in that type of deal so we lose a little money. Not sure the money will line up if Houston goes all the way like that. I don't blame him but it kinda sucks to go waste the best years of your career trying to make that **** show functional.

Just wanna again note the 2nds have value. If they didn't have value, you wouldn't be able to buy stuff with them (we got Collins for a 2nd rounder).
We have two seconds available... just an FYI for you and @Elizah Huge ... 2029 and 2030 are available. We sent the 2026 memphis second that we owned half of 31-42 in the Collins deal. Likely wasn't something we were going to get anyway... so not bad.

We should look at grabbing a few seconds though. We need some spare change to make smaller deals work.

I think we can move KO for some seconds or grab some by taking Vic Oladipo.
Then we should ****ing do that? Unless we want to start having to burn 1st rounders to do deals that work with 2nds.

I am frustrated. I don't get why this organization won't ever grab some ****ing 2nds.
