The rumored Sexton to Milwaukee deal has to be a three team deal imo. Not sure how much value Beauchamp has but I'd like him if we didn't have Collins/Hendricks/Lauri... wonder if he ends up elsewhere and we get something we are targeting. Or if we are in on Herro and just clearing Sexton out of the equation? Its just kinda weird so I think there are other pieces to that conversation we are missing.

I also still think Quickley gets moved this summer. Their roster/rotation doesn't make sense unless they consolidate or flip a piece or two and Quickley seems like the most sensible move.

I like Sexton, but if you can move him + filler + a low-value pick for Herro, then you might've done yourself a good deal. Or, maybe Clarkson can be the outgoing piece?

If we're dreaming, then let's see Sexton and Clarkson get moved for Herro and Quickley.

I think JC's deal means he can't be traded for 6 months... I think DA operates in the long term so a short term log jam is not a big concern for him.

I do think one of Sexton or THT is moved this summer. I would all but guarantee one of JC/THT/Sexton is moved by year end. I think JC's renegotiate and extend deal takes him out of the conversation until the trade deadline.

You are going to die on that hill. Collins is going to be a ****ing beast for us.
Our best talent are logjammed forwards that terminate possessions, not initiate them, and a bunch of question marks for people that initiate those possessions. Furthermore, Collins’ money precluded the Jazz from finding one of those guards.

I think Ainge saw an opportunity to add a talent without a plan. If we’re playing moneyball then let’s care about money.

Chris Wood seems like he could bring that pissed off Bobby Portis toughness plus a different look at the 5 spot to the team. Plus, he would be super cheap at this point. Huge plus over Potter.
