Ausar doesnt seem to have much scoring/shooting ability, but he so good at everything else and he's such an athletic force with the ball teams have to respect him which opens up his playmaking. When the offense comes along he is nasty.

We do realize that half of these top 10 guys without a shot will likely never shoot worth a damn, right? The modern NBA will punish you so much for that.

Air Podz has shown me why I was super high and eventually kind of low on him.

The experience of playing with the adult team will be completely different and I do ultimately believe the GSW style will hugely benefit him if he can transition to not feeling that ball the entire game.
Haha you said a lot of words here that amounted to nothing.

So you checked the box of being high on him. Being “kind of” low on him. See some upside but also some downside?.

You’re the unrivaled master of base coverage.

I think you would have similar questions about Hendricks. A normal fan wouldn’t pick out the guys who mostly stands in the corner as a top 10 pick. I have no life and I still found myself being bored to death by the film. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but Hendricks is definitely not the type of player you feel and notice a lot each and every play. And this was at UCF.
A lot of people probably watched ray Allen at times and thought he was boring and invisible to I guess.

It's just with Bilal he is invisible AND not producing. That's the issue.

Who is this?
a 5'7" PG the raptors signed that much of the fanbase was elevating as the future.

The raptors quietly have been one of the worst managed franchises in the NBA. People on JFC would have their pitchforks out if our FO did our team as dirty as theirs did. As highlights:
- traded Dragic & their first round pick for the expiring contract of Thad Young and a 2nd round pick -- that FRP later became Walker Kessler, and they drafted Bruno Caboclo.
- traded their 2024 first round pick (top 6 protected) for the expiring contract of Jakob Poeltl (keep in mind, no need for Poeltl if Kessler was drafted).
- refused all trade offers for OG, FVV, and Siakam going back to 2021
- Have doubled down on #vision69, signing multiple forwards and doing nothing to shore up their guard play and shooting
- the 2022 offseason in particular was a doozy -- more than half of their roster was PFs (Boucher, Achiuwa, Young, Siakam, Barnes; got rid of Watanabe and signed Hernangomez and Otto Porter Jr.)
- signed Poeltl to a sizeable contract, lost FVV, and now on the verge of losing Siakam after the market has dried
- reports now coming out that Scoot could have been had for either Siakam or OG prior to the draft, and prior to Dame's trade demand
- drafted Dick, when they remain desperate for a shooting PG like Keyonte George

At this time, the franchise continues to sell their fanbase on Scottie as a sufficiently talented 'point guard' for the future, in addition to promising OG will take that 'next step'. In addition (and this is super key), the owners of the franchise also own much of the local sports media in Toronto -- so you have a *very* cooperative and non-adversarial press. In addition, you have a fanbase who has created a personality cult around Masai and Bobby extending from the fluke 2019 win.

All in all, ****ing disaster in Toronto. They are going to need to trade Siakam, and then tank hard in order to actually try and keep their 2024 draft pick. Sucks to suck!

- George

I kind of just wasted my time watching OKC/IND:
- I'm guessing this was Chet's last game of the summer league. It felt like OKC was trying to get him as many touches as possible.
- Cason started the game with 4 points and 4 assists and then had a hard time getting involved in the offense after that. As much as I once loved Jared Butler, he was taking away all of Cason's touches.
- Walker was solid, but didn't do anything spectacular on defense like I was hoping he would.
- Honestly everyone just looked kind of tired. Playing a lot of games. Vegas heat can zap your energy.
