What's new

Game #9: Cavs at Jazz Tuesday 01/10/2012 7 pm MST

I'd like to see the team finish strong this month, but the schedule does get a lot tougher after that. I think the best we can hope for is a .500 record this year and just missing the playoffs. Hopefully, the youngsters develop and a 30-win season isn't because Al, Paul and Josh are all scoring 15-20 pts/per.

if jazz win they are 6-3.
who would have thought

The thing I like about that is that the young guys have had an acitve role in getting us there. They do not get all the credit but they get a good share of it.

I wanted to see just how young a team we were and this is what I found. Interesting.

I would have thought we were younger but Bell certainly doesn't help. Trade him, let Miles' contract run out, and draft and roster (I'm using this as a verb here bitches) two to four 19-21 year olds, and we may be the youngest.

Really hoping for another win. Loving this roll we have been on, and hope we can keep it going while the schedule is on our side. There's no telling what might happen if all these young guys get the crazy idea in their head that we can keep winning.

The only thing that gives me hope for the playoffs is that the Jazz have gotten better each game. So after a month the Jazz should go undefeated.

Bell, Watson, Howard, and Tinsley makes our team look older then it is.

Or is it Hayward, Burks, Favors, and Kanter make our team look younger then it is?

Those 4 young players account for an average of 66 minutes per game, the old guys account for 48 minutes per game, and that difference will only widen as the season continues. So as I said before the old players make us older than we are.

The 4 old guys are also 51 combined years older then the 4 young guys.

the team seems younger than these stats indicate , because the young guys contribute a lot in the minutes they are on the floor

It was a joke

Literally just woke from a dream where CJ Miles was traded to the Lakers. Just as I was about to find out the details (was headed to jazzfanz of course) I woke up.
Ok, back to bed.

I'm ready for some damn Jazz. Move the game up. Appease me Stern!!
