The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Watch SA -Minny replay. Not a very good game, Minny too strong for SA. SA got a lot of talented young guys but if they wanna win with this core, they will have to be patient. Wemby is huge, but it will take a cpl of years to do it. That's for me why it's important to have good picks but surround with strong players and smart vets. Not easy to make.

Also think a big part of the Clippers equation is they know they might not able to retain George/Leonard, so with Harden they at least have a backup plan.

You can just build a team around Harden and still make the playoffs. Everyone knows what will happen once you get there, but you will at least remain relevant and have a guy putting up MVP type stat lines.

Also it’d be nice to have some commentators who are plugged in to general league happenings enough to be able to spit out this stream of consciousness.
I just want one who watches the game attentively enough to know that the step-back 3 he just called out was actually a double dribble inside the paint. Is that too much to ask?

Hayward can still ball.

Would be one of my top targets in free agency if the Jazz have a plan for a quick turnaround. He addresses every single issue the Jazz have.
I wonder if Hayward had stayed here whether the whole Donovan-Rudy dynamic would have worked out. I think we'd have been really good for many years - maybe a ring or two.

That's the issue. He sounds like he can't be bothered to pay attention to the game. Just going through the motions. It's terrible to listen to. and has been for years. I don't care how nice his voice is.

A lot of arenas have the announcers pretty far away from the game. It might be more of an age/vision related thing.

He will be 34 next season. Too old and too fragile to sign long term.

I might consider trading Sexton and THT right now for him though to free up the logjam at guard. I'm all in on Keyonte with heavy minutes.
