If KOC wants to get a little bold he could get on the phone with Ainge who we all know is desperate to get a jumpstart on rebuilding his team.

I'd go for Rondo + Allen for Harris + Hayward + draft pick.

Thank God !! Was pretty sure the staff was not blind to how horrible he has been playing, this restores my faith in them. I do feel bad for "HeavenHarris'.........Well, some.

We need Calderon to pass his physical so he can be ready for the next game.
I think we should start Watson in the beginning, and work Calderon into the rotation.

I'd do this. Seems like a better fit for both players, and if Calderon can shoot the 3, even better.

Good.
Devin really deserves better than to be misused like this. The Jazz want a pass 1st PG who doesn't get plays run for him, then fine go get that player, don't try to force Harris into something he's not and make him look like crap. They should treat him better than this.

Can't believe the Jazz forced him to air ball that three. Poor Devin.

Devin Harris for Kirk Hinrich?

Would a Harris for Hinrich trade be possible? It seems like Hinrich would be a much better for the Jazz than Harris, and Harris would be much better for the Hawks than Hinrich.

If the contracts were equal I would say it's a win win. Harris makes about 1 mil more per year, and has 1 more year on his contract.

Harris is younger, and probably the better player, so Atlanta might possibly do it.

If we're trying to win now, this would be a great trade.

I would rather do Harris for Mo Williams, which would work. Clips probably wouldn't bite, though. The Clips already have 2 solid PG's in Billups and Paul, so losing Mo wouldn't really matter (although he's been playing quite a bit with CP3 out).

I really think the most logical move to make is Harris for Calderon. Calderon's not the savior for the PG position, but he's a much better fit for this team. He's a pass first PG that is a much better shooter than Harris. While Calderon would be an improvement on offense, he'd also be a downgrade on defense.

Here's a Canadian article from two days ago which discusses this trade proposal:

Love it.

I was watching the Celtics/Raptors game the other night and I could've sworn that one of the announcers said that Calderon was literally the worst shooter in the league, as in he has the lowest shooting percentage. If this is true, this does bother me.

Here is a snippet of what Hollinger says about Calderon (insider, so I can't post most of it).

"+ Pure point guard who will reliably break down defense and find open man.

+ Good outside shooter and great foul shooter; very effective finisher, as well.

+ Zero lateral quickness since '09 hamstring injury. A traffic cone on defense.

Synergy Stats rated him the league's third-worst point guard last season. Nagging leg injuries are also taking a bite out of his career. Last season was the third in a row in which he missed exactly 14 games. Between that and the defense, one wonders how long he can remain viable as a starter."

And from that, I say would probably say no thanks to Calderon! Let Harris go at years end and get a new FA PG.

Damn Canadians would probably want something in addition to Harris for Calderon.

Playing better this year than last. Shooting 48% from the field and almost 9 assists.

Quite a few. But give them credit for Rubio. Flynn was a massive flop. Cant get off the bench in Houston now.

They have a few good players, granted. But when I think of smart FOs the Timberwolves are nowhere on that list. Lakers, Spurs, Jazz, Dallas...
