You can tell Trump knows a lot about a subject when he claims to not know anything about that subject or person. “Stormy who? Michael Michael Cohen? Lawyer? Who? My lawyer? General Kelley claimed that I insulted veterans? I barely knew him!”

You can tell when he doesn’t know anything about something when he rants about it endlessly. Like when he talks about how smart he is, talks about history, and how his uncle used to work at MIT. “My replacement for Obamacare comes out in 2 more weeks and we fought the British communists nazis with airplanes and jets!”

Please, don’t play this game. We all know what’s going on behind the scenes. I know what’s coming if Trump returns. Trump is lying through the teeth saying he knows nothing about Project 2025. as soon as he is sworn in, he’ll remember just fine. Project 2025 is a dystopian nightmare if fully in place. Why are you showing me their platform? That’s not Project 2025. I have every right to be concerned with a Trump 2.0 and a Project 2025. You really think Trump gives a damn about your GOP platform?? lol, see ya around, not playing your games.

First comment in the comments section summed things up well:

Why is it never enough for Trump to simply disagree with someone else's political views? Why does he always have to move on to denigrating their work, or their looks, or their income, or their intellect? It's like it's not enough to disagree...he has to attempt to utterly discount any success they've had.

Actually, beyond that...why did he need to respond at all?


Another one on point:
"Get out of politics and go back to TV" seems a perfect message for a man who is much more concerned about ratings, popularity, and what celebrities think about him than he is things like the Constitution and how government works.

It's not like Trump had a political background or legal one prior to running for president. He's a real estate mogul for god's sake. Most president's have been a senator, governnor, lawyer, in the miliary, done SOMETHING, ANYTHING, to serve our country before claiming to be capable of running the entire kit and kaboodle. Trump has, and continues to, only serve himself.

Maybe it’s not over until the fat lady sings. Yesterday, the “rebels were done”. Today, more efforts to convince him to withdraw. Everyone seems to understand he doesn’t have a prayer. Can you imagine a Trump landslide, with both houses controlled by Republicans, the Supreme court in the tank for authoritarianism, and the folks behind Project 2025 in the administration? And there will be no adults, like General Kelly and others.

Exactly. You can't name a single plank that you object to. Instead for you it is about Trump the person.

As for not knowing what is in Project 2025, no one does. It is 922 pages. It is almost as long as The Bible. I normally love taking in information like that just to know for myself and even I can't get myself to read it. Sorry if it ruins your image of Trump, but he isn't much of a reader. There is no way he knows what is in it. There is no way you've read it. I would bet dollars to doughnuts that you are only parroting stuff you've found on the internet.

You’re insufferable, man. I voted Biden. The guy sucks. Harris sucks even worse. If you don’t think the Dems and Biden selected her because she’s black (and female to a lesser extent), I don’t know what to tell you. It’s blatantly obvious that this type of thing goes on in virtually all walks of life. For whatever reason, you want to bury your head in the sand when it comes to such realities, and seem to only hide or ignore such truths when it comes to the Dems and expose them when it comes to the GOP. A little more balance and intellectual honesty would go a long, long way.

Democrats have an opportunity. Biden has to step aside in a manner that shows he understands, even if it galls him. Something along the lines….
“I said I ran to stop Trump, and I get it: we need a more youthful candidate. Right now. We can iron this out at our convention. People will see democracy in action, and they will see a great option, a ticket that will not only beat Trump, but ensure a new generation of leadership for all Americans, a ticket that can and will unify our fractured nation”.

Two+ months to campaign following the convention. I believe people will understand, and be relieved to see it’s not Trump vs. Biden. There’s a first time for everything. Trump gets it. He wants Biden. There’s always a risk when you’ve never tried something before, they can put a ticket together that will attract independents. They can do it at the convention, as things will coalesce around a ticket that will get enough votes for the nomination. Delegates will understand this ain’t the time to dilly dally.
