Kamala Harris for Pres

unfortunately for the Dems they'll pay the price for the obsession with DEI above merit. Harris is deeply unpopular within her own party, deeply unpopular with the electorate, a terrible politician with a deeply flawed record. Shame really
Basically every politician is deeply unpopular.

Any signs of The Rapist ducking debates with Kamala yet? It's coming. He'll be asked if he'll debate her and he'll say, "I'm not even sure she's the candidate, look, she's very unlikable. People don't like her because she's a nasty woman. Look what she did in California, she held out evidence from a man on death row because she's an evil person. If she's the candidate I'll debate her and I'll win but I'm not even sure people want her as the candidate."
Honestly, for him, that would be the best strategy. Just like the basement strategy for Biden. Trump has his own basement strategy going on, he is off all major social media platforms, so he is not hurting himself with all his tweets. He came out and beat Biden in a debate (really Biden lost it), survived an assassination attempt and now Biden quit.
If you look at it objectively, not as a person but as a contest, he has had a strong month. Now he gets an opponent who isn’t liked, didn’t win a primary, he can stay back from a distance and take shots at her. His biggest weakness is his VP pick. If he can keep Vance out of site, it would help him out.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

LOL.. if she’s the candidate, Trump’s gonna win in a landslide.

Time for Michelle Obama to step up to the plate.

Obama would have been a great candidate, the best in my opinion, but if you watch Kamala's speech yesterday you might change your mind about her chances. Nothing has changed in the polls with the assassination attempt. The Rapist squandered any good will 20 minutes into his speech at the Convention. Not like he could have kept up the charade of wanting the country to come together anyways. My prediction is the election is close but Kamala wins, probably by a bigger margin than last election. A lot more people are speaking out about The Rapist's insanity than four years ago. And don't underestimate people's opinion of Jan 6.

Are those requirements for being a justice? Appoint her and feed her millions in brib… I mean uhhh free speech. Then you’ll have 40+ years of reliable progressive legislating. Legislation that’s impossible to pass through the legislative process can be done through the judicial process. It might be the only way we get universal health care here.

Isn’t that how the Supreme Court works?
LOL just pack the court with the squad. The hogs will run riot.

Face it, there is zero ways for a politician to win in that **** show in Israel right now
In America? Why? Seems like weak leadership to me. Standing with an ally in Europe is good, yet standing with your ally in the Middle East is bad?
Or just on the Democratic side? I can’t imagine the Republicans would sit this one out.

She's not going to win over any staunch zionists. But being tough on Netanyahu is a prerequisite for a big progressive turnout. A lot of people are sick of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and we need to push back.

I don't want to litigate the conflict here, I'm just expressing that I think its a good and necessary move in the right direction.

Because people don't like funding a genocide

It's probably just performative and nothing will change about the USA/Israel partnership if she assumes leadership, but at least it something I guess.
