What's new

Jazz-Kings Saturday 28th 7:00 MT

Jimmer went to BYU, so of course he is gonna get cheers. Nothing to do with religion. we don't need a basketball player to afirm our faith.
It's no different than fans who cheered Keith Van Horn. It happened. A great player plays at your favorite school, you like to see him do well in the pros.

Wow, are you lying or just stupid?

The crowd was CHANTING for Jimmer. If you're a Jazz fan you DO NOT chant for another teams player. Period. Sure, cheer during the lineup announcement. But every time he gets the ball and shoots? Give me a break. That was ridiculous.

I'm not pulling a Wiley Drake here, but I won't be disappointed if Raja needs to sit a few more games, and I would be totally fine if he never played pro basketball again.

Joining in on the posting. Highlight of the game was Watson's shoe to that little kid's mouth. **** looked painful. I was like :O

Funny how the name Isiah Thomas keeps working. That kid is a good player. I'm not even talking about the shots he made. He's just a natural point. Sacto looked so much better with him in the game. I don't know if he's a starter, but you have to like the way he plays.

Speaking of telecasts, I got the NBA TV feed which sounded totally weird. Anyone else think this? I can't describe it, but the crowd noise was muted and it was like Harp and Boler were on radio.

I gotta go back to Hayward. When he took that 3 right after missing a 3 in the first, I got a little sweaty with excitement. He also got cruelly rejected after a nice cut in the first. I worried that would mess him up. But he was ready to shoot all game after that. He shook off misses and kept firing. Please, Gordon, try a few stop and pops in the lane. Go up a little more. Sometimes he gets like 3 feet of space on a drive and doesn't see he has a wide open 5 footer.

Nah. This is one atrocity religion is NOT behind.

Thanks BabyPeterzz.

Hayward had a great game. It was fun to see some of what we saw last year.

Burks was a spark off the bench. He's going to make a very good starter some day soon.

As others have said, Favors and Kanter need more time. Almost as bad as Jefferson needs less time.

How did I miss this? Was this on the NBA TV broadcast? When did it happen?
It was on ROOTD for me(Comcast). At the very end, when Hayward threw the ball ahead of Watson/Almost out of bounds, Watson's heel went square into this little kid's grill. He was crying pretty bad, didn't see any blood though. Watson and Corbin went over and were standing around for a few minutes with him making sure he was okay.

Pretty sure craig is just stupid.

yeah you natives are crazy chanting and going nuts over a player on the opposing team. luckily league pass had harpring at a volume that overrode all other sounds during the game!! :)

ESPN said:
"I'm not going to say whether I got fouled or not," said Fredette, who ended up on the floor after the miss. "The ball didn't go in and we lost the game. It was a tough one."
Huh? Do ESPN hacks even watch the Jazz games before writing their recaps? I live on a whole 'nother continent and even I know that Jimmer didn't end up on the floor. He didn't even get touched. But he whined to the refs a lot.

I agree. He's a little guy but can run an offense and is fearless, and if he can keep up that solid shooting he'll be quite a player. I wish we had him.

hayward's defense is every bit as impressive as his offense in this game

i like hayward only because he knows the game very well and he plays smart defense, he plays with his brain, if he figure out his confidence problem, he will be a great player
