Yep, Christian values all right. I can see why those Christians think God sent Trump. They like hearing they have good genes, apparently. I am pretty sure the 11th commandment was "thou shalt hold thy good genes above all other inferior races and **** hole nations". Paraphrasing, of course.I don’t know if Trump is the “worst, most racist bigot in the world”, but I do find him disgusting, and someone who should never be my nation’s face to the world.

"Bad genes": In latest racist attack, Trump says immigrants are genetically inferior
Trump, embracing eugenics, claimed immigrants are genetically predisposed to crimewww.salon.com
Donald Trump on Monday claimed that immigrants are predisposed to becoming murderers because they have “bad genes," a racist claim belied by studies showing immigrants actually commit fewer crimes than native-born Americans.
Trump has had a long obsession with genes and bloodlines, often citing superior genetics as a reason for success long before he got into politics.
At an anti-immigration rally in 2020, he told the predominantly white Minnesota crowd that they have “good genes.”
“You have good genes. A lot of it is about the genes, isn’t it, don’t you believe?" Trump said. He went onto reference the “racehorse theory," an idea popularized in Nazi Germany that suggests selective breeding can improve a country’s performance.
In 2023, Trump said immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” echoing language used by the Nazis.
I saw a good video about this the other day, pointing out that evacuation orders without financial support condemns the poor to impossible decisions, who cannot afford temporary housing (like hotels) or transportation or food to leave their homes. Not as simple as it sounds.I hope all those in the hurricane’s path actually heed to the experts’ warnings and not try and stick things out because some jackass online gave them terrible information. It’s best to evacuate and be safe than to try and tough it out only to pray that government workers save your ***.
Oh and remember:

Full list of Republicans who voted against FEMA funding before Helene hit
Congress approved $20 billion for FEMA's disaster relief fund as Hurricane Helene was heading toward Florida.www.newsweek.com
Plenty of Florida republicans on that list. Hopefully voters give them their just desserts.
Is installing a puppet for billionaire oligarchs that nobody likes and nobody voted for based only on someone’s skin color and gender and no other reason into the most important position in our country worth it?I should add, these aren’t isolated events. Frankly, I think Trump is preparing his base to launch a pogrom. For over a month now he’s been pumping incredibly racist rhetoric straight into the mainstream. From Haitians eating your pets to now this.
You really want four more years of this because of some meaningless policy difference with Kamala Harris? Really? Are tax cuts that might get you a few hundred back from Uncle Sam really worth all of this?
I know we all probably won’t see eye to eye with Kamala’s policies towards gay penguins and their impact on climate change. But this reads like Mein Kampf. How is this any different than the foul racist **** you’ve read about in the history books about the Rwanda genoicde, the kkk and the nazis? White suprmeecists have for decades claimed that we’re “being invaded” and we must be “liberated” from Jews, blacks, and the brown Spanish speaking horde. Referring outsiders as “scum” and “vermin” has been typical in every genocide of the past century, including the Holocaust and Rwandan.
If prominent members of my tribe were speaking like this, I’d probably vote for the other tribe to teach my old tribe a lesson. Where are all the “responsible moderate conservative republicans” on this site who demand that I show them respect? They take so much offense when I call them cultists or partisans, or cowards. Where are these “very fine people” now?
This is all from Donald’s rally tonight:

LOG!So does that apply to the violence and terror Trump unleashed on our own capital building during the certification of a free and fair election? I guess we just can't have any president then, huh?
Both candidates in the race are pro-choice. Trump is also pro-life as in he personally abhors abortion, but he wants the woman's right to choose set at 20 weeks.
“I am very pro-choice. I hate the concept of abortion. ... I just believe in choice. Again, it may be a little bit of a New York background, because there is some different attitude in some different parts of the country. ... I was raised in New York and grew up and worked and everything else in New York City. But I am strongly pro-choice."

President Trump is pushing for a 20-week abortion ban
The president has called on the Senate to vote on the measure, which has already passed the House, and send it to his desk for signature into law.www.yahoo.com
When Florida was pushing their 6-week abortion ban, Trump was very public about his opinion that 6-weeks was too short and that women should have more weeks.
“There has to be more time . . . I want more weeks.”

Trump Becomes a Pro-Choice Champion… for Florida’s Abortion Rights Movement
The ex-president is popping up on mailers and in digital ads, sponsored by the group looking to enshrine abortion rights into Florida’s constitution.www.thebulwark.com
In the linked video, the women were at 12 weeks and 18 weeks when the fetal defects were discovered. Both would have been able to get abortions if Trump had his way. Trump's position is actually more liberal than most of Europe, but we are where we are because many on the left want no restriction on abortion, including birth being a limit on abortion. Most scoff and say democrats don't want that, but current VP candidate Tim Walz changed the laws of his state to allow it and since becoming governor there have been eight post-birth killings in his state.
Kamala Harris has been asked directly multiple times about any limits she would accept on abortion and she has refused to enumerate any restrictions. So long as there are a contingent pushing for the right of mothers to kill their children even after birth, there are going to be those on the opposite side pushing to outlaw abortion entirely. Trump's position is the compromise position. The Harris / Walz position is what makes compromise impossible. Now we get videos of women who knew about fetal defects earlier than 20 weeks used as fodder to push for allowing mothers to kill perfectly healthy children without restriction.
If it makes you feel better, I disagree strongly with Trump in his stance there. I'm open to abortion in cases of rape, incest, dire threats to the physical health of the mother, or fetal defects, but mothers intentionally killing off their healthy children should be made as illegal as intentionally killing anyone else.Again, kindly STFU.
Good pts.I saw a good video about this the other day, pointing out that evacuation orders without financial support condemns the poor to impossible decisions, who cannot afford temporary housing (like hotels) or transportation or food to leave their homes. Not as simple as it sounds.
Plus some hotel chains in neighboring states have jacked up their prices to nearly triple their normal rates to take full advantage of the disadvantaged in this crisis. Yay unfettered capitalism.
