Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Bailey's handle kind of reminds me of Clarkson. It doesnt look very good, kind of loose/high, but there is a certain rhythm to it that gets him where he needs to be for his crazy shot taking/making.

Queen has that Reid/Filipowski skill set and movement ability. Also has a ton of room for big physical improvement as he currently looks kind of pudgy.

Seems like a better rebounder/rim protector than either of them. Definitely a better rebounder. Would love to pair Queen/Filipowski together as that would give you a ton of passing/playmaking/ball-handling from your 4/5.

BYU with an early game today (1pm) against another scrub *** team. Fun day for BYU fans today. Early Bball game and then get to watch the undefeated Vampire Cougs take on Kansas tonight at home at 8:15 pm. Almost all the experts are taking Kansas and vegas has the game as basically a pick em.

Very casual attempt at a lottery ranking.

I was putting together a top ten they other day and decided to wait until all of the top guys have played against real competition.

The only one on your list I currently have strong feelings against your rankings is Kasparas. He hasn't looked like a lottery pick in this draft to me.

They should make a rule that if you have a potential lottery pick on your team that you should be required to play a real team within your first 3 games so that I can get a real look at the prospects. I'm getting impatient with all of these teams playing such bad opponents.

Demin was shooting about 50% from 3 coming into this game (about 5 attempts per game) and today he is 2-3 from deep. So far so good.
Fouss (BYU Traore) is dominating. 9-9 for 23 points

This is funny because I was just thinking that Ace looked a little like a taller JC in some of his highlights.
Kyle Mann from the ringer kinda compared him to MP Jr in high school. I get the appeal of tough shot making but I’d rather a guy that gets amazing looks. IDK need to watch him closely.

true. but he was really bad. averaged 2 rebs, 1 assist and had a TS% of 52% in conference play. even if he was 18 that's bad. but as a four year guy who isn't strong, isn't an athlete, can't put it on the floor, etc - that's just not an nba player.

he was probably the worst player on the floor in the duke game.
Probably one of the worst motors I have seen on a good player ever.

Damn, is he a good shooter now?
I'm becoming less concerned little by little.
See, im a BYU fan. I have been following practice reports, watching intersquad scrimmages, seeing practice videos and spending a lot of time on BYU message boards reading discussions about Demin. My concerns about his shooting ability came about through a lot of video and discussion.
So far he has been a better shooter in these 4 games than expected.
Hoping he keeps it up.
