Kas has been awesome in the second half.
Tennessee running out of bodies/fouls to foul him
Flagg/Harper/Kasparas are a pretty comfortable top 3 for me at the moment, in that order, with Harper quickly advancing on #1 if Flagg doesnt have some standout games coming soon.
No one else on Illinois can create a shot against the Tennessee defense. The load on Kasparas is massive and he;s played the entire half
Is PJ Haggerty a prospect? Just saw he's averaging 23-6-3 as a redshirt sophomore for Memphis. 45% from 3 on low-ish moderate volume. 9 FTA per game on 84% shooting.
Kasparas is gassed and making some mistakes down the stretch.
Not great play down the stretch from Kasparas. Gave up the game winner.
I would chalk up the bad plays to fatigue for Kasparas. Overall good game, but couldnt close it out.
McNeely finally with a standout game
Looking at some box scores and Jamir Watkins just scored 29 points on 8 FGA (made 19 FTs).
It looks like Fears, Philon, and Asa had ok games.
I'm guessing at this rate Catchings will stay another year.

Hell, I wish Egor would stay another year. That's the recipe for deep tourney wins. Star one and dones with great returning "vets". (I know Demin won't stay another year but I can dream)

He has a really well rounded game. Whenever I watch him, it just feels like he needs some maturing and it will translate.
