I remember getting some flack on here for pouring some water on the Egor fire after a few games to start the season.
You know who is better at everything than Egor and is also bigger?
You had him in the top-5 throughout November and your "some water" was not being ready to move him in the top-3 yet.

Ya I mean byu might have played their best game in their program history last night and he wasn't even noticeable. Was probably about the 5th best player on the team last night. Which is kind of typical for him.

Kas had 0 assists and 7 turnovers last night. Yikes.
Yeah, he might be at the bottom of my top 6. VJ has probably overtaken him.
Kas has definitely struggled more in conference play….but tbh his conference play is still quite good and better than some of his counterparts.

I’ll give him a pass for now because he’s been injured and had great games against good non-conference opponents….but it’s definitely something to watch for. I don’t think he’s a guarantee for the #2 spot and I would no longer consider him a #1 quality prospect. Doesn’t seem to help his team play better.
He also has the best +/- on the team. He has a big influence on the game with his passing/defense and decent rebounding. He REAALLLY needs to work on his shot consistency- sometimes it looks great, but he can't seem to keep his form consistent. Fixable though, so his draft status will probably stay top 10, since none of the others are showing out, particularly.
He's been dealing with injuries.
A lot of the back half lottery teams are playoff hopefuls, so they make draft for need for guy who project as safer/more ready role players like Kon/McNeely/Richardson.
I wonder if anyone would take Hugo Gonzalez over Demin. He was considered the better prospect prior to the season starting. He's starting to get more minutes for his pro team, which features majority ex-nba players.

He's faded badly but there's just no one else.
This draft is very disappointing compared to what we were sold during preseason.
Harper is still the very best in the draft at getting to the basket and finishing, but he's no longer getting there/finishing at a godly rate. One thing I've noticed about him is that his touch around the basket is just okay. If he doesn't get all the way to the hoop he's going to brick it most likely....only 28% in the midrange this season. I think he will be fine in the NBA, but he's a true #1 caliber guy IMO. My comparison would be Jalen Williams on offense, and someone bad on defense.
Something interesting is a comparison between Collier and Harper on paper. Obviously, Harper clears Collier....but definitely not the gap you would expect from the 29th pick in the worst draft ever and the #2 in the best draft ever.
