Magic, Jazz, Grizzlies Three Team Deal

Ok Jazz fans idk if you guys have a 100 post rule but sorry I had to start a topic! Here in Florida most of the radio talk shows are buzzing about rumors out of Orlando (yes I am a "MagicFan") that the Grizzlies now are trying to get in the Dwight Howard sweepstakes. Sources from the Grizzlies already thought they had the makeup of a championship team in an 82 game season but they want to win this year as well. Talk shows here in Orlando are saying the Grizzlies the Magic Rudy Gay, Conley and Gasol. Where the Jazz come into play they would send give up Jefferson and Harris and maybe fillers I really don't know the rest. No speculation on who goes where except Dwight Howard to Memphis.

And for one I cant see this actually going through because Dwight wants to play at a bigger market and Memphis is the smallest market in the league unless he wants to play with Zach Randolph who comes back March 2nd I believe.

Last the Magic want Mayo included in the deal but the Grizzlies don't want to give him up and that is one of the things holding the deal back since the Grizzlies can't trade first round picks in back to back years.

Just wanted to inform your fan base as I am buzzing at the thought of this trade. The guy was not saying that he was making this up this is in fact a legit rumor so I'm hoping for the best.

I also see that you guys play the Grizzlies tonight it will be interesting to see if any of the guys sit out or they say anything about it on ESPN tonight. So far I have not seen anything about it on any of the major sites.

Thinking about who would go where is curious. I would think Rudy Gay and Mike Conley went to Utah while the rest went to Orlando?

Grizzlies roster is Conley, Mayo, Allen, Gay, Randolph, Arthur, Speights, Gasol, Selby, Hadaddi, Young, Pargo, Pondexter, and Cunningham.

You guys know who the Jazz have Harris, Howard, Hayward, Evans, Kanter, Jefferson, Milsap, Favors, Watson, Bell and Miles. I think I am missing a few

And Magic Nelson, Howard, Anderson, Hedo, Jrich, Duhon, Clark , Davis , Redick, Q, Wafer , Ish, Orton, and Liggins.
 
I think Jazz would get Mike Conley and Rudy Gay.

Memphis gets Harris and Dwight Howard

Magic get Al Jefferson, Marc Gasol, Gordon Hayward is what he said.

He said Mayo might also go to Utah or Orlando to make money work Grizzlies might get young player and they have to wait until free agents can be traded
 
What's the trade? I'll admit I skimmed, but all I saw was something about giving up Jefferson and Harris. Sure, we'll give up Harris and Jefferson for Dwight. I know that's not what you're suggesting, but since it's not entirely clear what you are suggesting I'm just going to roll with it.
 
Dude I feel bad for Howard when watching the Magic, Ryan Anderson and Jrich are the only people on their team that are starting caliber. Hedo, and Jameer are no good and J.J. Redick is a better version of Jameer but since Jameer sucks it is not saying much.
 
Yeah we are playing terrible. PLus Dwight is putting up huge numbers and is still giving little effort. He needs to go for the bets of both situations.

Do you guys think Jazz can go anywhere with their current roster?

And what are your thoughts about the Grizzlies? Do you think they can make the playoffs and do anything?

Is the fact that it took a Magic fan posting a trade thread on Jazzfanz to make me realize we were playing tonight sad?

The Jazz are a lottery team with their current roster. They will probably land their own pick at around 12 to 14 and then GSW at about 9.

I honestly believe that the Grizzlies are a playoff team. They will get Zach back soon and they will start to lay in on teams. I just don't know how much sense that this trade makes for them or Orlando. If all the Jazz have to do is get rid of Harris and Jefferson, two players than the educated fans can see need to go, it is a no-brainer. Add in the fact that they get Gay and Conley in the trade and we would be stupid not to do this trade.

This trade has two gaping holes in it. Where doe Hedo go? How many picks are the Jazz giving up?

would love for grzilies to send gasol to jazz. would be willing to trade jefferson/harris and one of the wings(cj,howard,hayward,Bell or burks)
 
It just doesnt make sense because the Grizzlies just signed Conley to a 4 yr deal Gay to a 5 Gasol to a 5 Zach to a 4 and they want to keep Mayo, maybe they want to dump salary because they are literally 1$ away from the lux. tax
