What's new

Following potential 2012 draftees

I feel like MKG will turn to college, just from what I have read from both on here at Jazzfanz, and on the net. I have faith that hell improve his jumper, as well.

So lots of reports about guys staying. Pj3 sounds like he wants to stay, but his mom has health issues and thinks he should go pro. Rivers is recruiting bazz' ( who has his own issues) which would mean more than likely he is selling them playing together. Reports are Quincy miller wants to come back. Drummond reportedly wants to co e back. I know this is always said, but damn, in a draft where we have two high picks this would be devastating. If were to speculate I would say that q miller and rivers are going back. I think mkg still comes out. I think Drummond would like to stay, but can't risk ruining his stock any further.

Stays in the draft;
- Drummond
- PJIII
- QMiller (seriously considering staying, but I predict stays in the draft)

Back to school;
- MKG (it's more personal than draft stock .. he feels like he has a family again, and he's lost so much, he doesn't want to leave yet)
- Rivers (believes he is around 10-12 and thinks he could go top 5 next year - more ego driven)

'Bazz ... will end up at UNLV (has already loosely committed to UK but UK doesn't want the neg pub about 'cheating' and is backing off) and sit 8-9 game suspension.

I hate the idea of Rivers staying. But, like I said a few days ago, theres still A LOT to shake out before we get to draft day. Both from a "who's staying" and how well these kids look in the tourney and combine. Obviously certain kids are locks like Davis and Drummond in the upper end but how the rest washes out will likely affect the Jazz the most if we end up with 2 picks in the 8-14 range.

Does anyone remember Derrick Williams? The tourney can do wonders to draft stock. If Duke and Baylor can make waves in the tourney then I can easily see both Rivers and Miller opting for the draft.

Rivers staying will have a lot to do with the game tonight and the tournament. As a Duke fan I want him to stay obviously, as a Jazz fan I just want him on my team again.

Oh and I'm gonna laugh when Bazz announces for Duke and all of his problems mysteriously go away. Keep hatin baby.

He's not going to Duke .. but you're right, his problems would be swept under thr rug, if he did.

Williams was already a top two or three pick before the tourney. But yeah, good job.

Rivers also needs to come out. Unless he plans on growing 2 more inches or play pg at duke full time I don't think his stock will raise much more. He is viewed as a clutch shooting combo guard I don't think that is going to change.

Like it has been said the tourney will determine a lot.

Actually a lot of guys are looking at next year's draft and knowing they have a great shot to move up A TON .. more because it's so weak rather than them improving so much.
