Gotta be honest...

I really don't want to see the Suns excluded from the playoffs.

Who doesn't enjoy every single minute of watching Nash play? His offenses are just unbelievably entertaining. And it's not even because he plays fast. He just plays so unselfishly, so smart, so entertaining, doesn't chuck, and is a class act guy. He's flashy Stockton with all his crazy dribbles and flashy passes. Who doesn't find Phx fun to watch? A bunch of no name scrubs getting wide open due to their PG and knocking down shots all over the place. Nash is about the only player in the league that could have made Gortat look like Bill Walton. Who doesn't enjoy watching the USA version of Memo Money (Frye). Sideshow Bob? Hilarious to watch, especially when you consider how much more coordinateder and gooder his (injured) twin is.

If I could choose, I'd much rather have Utah and Phx go in at 7th and 8th while Dallas or Denver sat home.

Ultimately, I wish that Nash was only 20 years old instead of 50. Maybe Rubio will become the new Nash. But I honestly cannot think of a player more fun, more entertaining, and just a better pure PG in the league. Sure Rose and Westbrook score better and dunk cooler. But I'm convinced Nash could make even the worst offensive team in the league look good with his ability to create and dish. It's amazing to me, that like Stockton, he will most likely leave the league without ever winning the big one.....

u should just be a suns fan. how about you try putting up a video of Stockton or D Will's top 10 assists?

That's fine. Here ya go guy

I still maintain that Nash is incredible to watch play hoops.

I gotta be honest too.
I like Nash, and his game, especially the passing.
Those passes are awesome.

To go along with that, I always hope the Jazz destroy the Suns, or Mavs, or whoever he's playing for when we play them.
I just can't help respecting his game, court vision, and passing ability.
I could do without him constantly sticking his hair behind his ears though.

.....I was thinking almost the same thing! And what scares me is even though we have the home court on Tuesday night....the Suns have Nash.....and that could easily turn out to be the big difference! I'm still baffled he's so far behind Stockton in assists. Everytime I look at his box scores he's got 10, 12, 14 assists and 2 turnovers! Just goes to show ya....how great that Stockton/Malone tandem really was!

I got to be honest as well. I don't give two ****s if Nash or the Suns make the playoffs.

All of you and your self-righteous gotta-be-honest crap .. seriously.

When did lying through your teeth go outta style?

Gotta agree, thriller; Nash is as close to a Stockton clone I've seen.
My prediction is Jazz and Suns get in, Denver loses road games in Phoenix and OKC to drop out of the playoff picture...

Order your 2012 Nash blow up dolls yet?

To me, Nash is just one of those guys like Stockton, who make basketball an absolute joy to watch. Even if they have no chance at winning the championship, I would by far rather watch Nash running the point than watching the Heat go one on one. True, Lebron will probably have a sweet dunk. But I'd rather watch Nash carve up defenses with his skills and brains and distribute that ball around than watch Lebron chuck and charge his way into success.

Weirdly enough, there are two teams that I love to watch (when the Jazz aren't playing of course), the Spurs and Suns. The Spurs, because they're so damn unselfish and fundamental and the Suns because Nash is Stockton and the Suns are so damn entertaining.

Thriller: As a college bb fan and 4th generation UK guy, I can say that I do not understand pulling for or enjoying watching another team.

Having said that, there are other PLAYERS I do pull for and enjoy watching. I really like Beal at Florida (but I want them to LOSE). I like Marshall .. but UNC can suck on a hose of CO1. I like Rivers, but Duke is ..

I don't see cheering for another team, for any reason, whatsoever.

I admire your courage, though, to start this thread. That is sincere.

This I can root for a player but I can't and will not root for the team.

How mad are you going to be when Nash joins the Heat next year?
