Following potential 2012 draftees

I have always been a believer. Seeing him go against Nazr and DCousins made me love the guy instantly. The sunlight comment is spot on, he needs more leash.

For me is was the way he bodied up Bynum and never backed down no matter how physical things got.

This thread is one of my favorites on the forum.

Even if it is just rumors and could never result in anything it is a lot of fun. Please dont stop PKM.

PPS: Don't trade Kanter KOC, for the love of all that is holy. The kid has a disgustingly-high ceiling.

Thanks for the info PKM. The only way I see that Houston deal working is if they sweeten the deal by adding a third team in the deal. I like Kanter a ton, and think he will be a good player, far more valuable then a couple mid round picks. To me part of Kanters Value is that him and Favors fit each other like a pair of gloves. Favors is the athletic defender, and slasher, finisher while Kanter is the low post banger enforcer. Oh, and both are rebounding fools.

I love it when this thread is being added to frequently. Anytime I come here I look for this thread first.

Good post, I think most agree whole-heartedly.

It was me.

I'm calling NO WAY on a Kanter deal.

I don't know about that.. I think the door is more open than that.

Think about this: 1) Kanter is a load downlow and he has the potential to be a franchise player. But it was also apparently clear that he's never gonna be a shot blocker or a leaper. Very little lift plus he's not a 7 footer like Marc Gasol. 2) Millsap has 1 year left, so what better time to get the most for him now.

Then Houston's 2 picks. What if: 1) Marshall/Lillard/Rivers fall to #14; 2) We can get a solid SF with the 2nd pick at #16 (i.e., Q Miller).

So we're looking at: Kanter & 1 year of Millsap VS Rivers & Q Miller.

I dunno, if I were KOC I'd have to at least sleep on it.

I like the addition that you are talking about, but you are missing a huge part to all of this. That part us known as Big Al.

Call it addition by subtraction. Call it whatever you want. I cannot handle another season of Jefferson for 30+ minutes a game, killing the flow and defense of this team.

Jefferson has to be dealt.
