What's new

Hornets....

Im guessing the dopes saying they would not trade millsap for the second pick. Pretty damn wow worthy.

I feel the same way. If the Jazz can get their hands on the likes of MKG, Beal, Robinson or Drummond then the future is looking that much better.

So the team gets worse offensively, and still gets pick and rolled to death...

I think the question is, in 2 years would be a better team with Sap or MKG. What do you think? (seriously)

Great question. I feel like the Jazz would be better with MGK on the court for the Jazz. I am guessing that in 2 years Kanter will be ready to be more of a starter, Favors will be touted highly by everyone around the league, Burks will be finishing around the rim more and Hayward will be running the offense. What are we missing? Oh yeah a SF and MKG could be a top 5 SF in the league.

The other thing this team is greatly missing is a true leader. MKG is that, regardless of age. I'm staying out of the debate as to yes or no to MKG .. just saying this team would be 'his' by his second year.

Watching the combine it was very interesting to me that everyone talked about MKG being the "leader" of a national championship team despite being a freshman and not even the best player on the team. To me it says a lot.

I hope that MKG can bring the kind of intensity that KG brings but without all the craziness and cheap shots all the time.

He's a leader more in the sense of bringing a winning culture. He got the UK players to work harder than they otherwise would have (classroom, weight room, eating right, etc). He was also one of the youngest players in the entire frosh class, btw.

I would not trade Millsap for 2nd pick.

Only a fool would not. Not worth the argument because this is such a one sided trade for the jazz that it is not even plausible.

Lol... I'm silly. I was victim of my fast reading practises, I train it at unimportant things like this board -JK-. I did read the thread fast, then I read the "2012 Draft" thread, pondered about some second round picks, then confused the threads and write this, like it's about a second round pick. I even rep'd the guy with a reflex.

As much as I love Millsap, it's 2nd pick, of course I would do it.

I am glad that you have come around.
