Did anybody watch this last night? My favorite part was John Stockton walking around with his family, unrecognized, talking to people about the Dream Team. Based on the little I know about him, that wouldn't seem like something he would do at all.

John Stockton relished the idea of not being the best on the team, "or even his family". He always claimed his brother was better. So I could see Stockton relishing being... "the unassuming white guy that no one in Barecelona knew, yet was a legendary basketball player."

Did he tell the people who he was?

I need to see this documentary know. I loved Stockton. Is it on the web? Or is it just DVD/TV?

That was pretty cool. And he wasn't just going unrecognized by Euros or other foreigners that were at the Olympics, the lady from America had his face on her shirt and didn't even recognize it was him.

Most interesting to me was the Barkley angle. I didn't know that he lead that team in scoring nor that he kind of made himself into being the fan favorite in Barcelona with his personality. He was getting mobbed everywhere.

Apparently the "US Select" team beat them the first time and the Dream Team got down to business for the second game and the US Select team didn't score a single point.

The John Stockton bit is on youtube and has been on there for a long long time.

I watched it last night. It was pretty cool. I knew it was going to be Magic/Jordan/Bird dominated, but I was glad they had a John Stockton segment. Also the stuff on Barkley was easily the best.

He wasn't telling people who he was. But as Duck Rogers mentioned, he was talking to a lady wearing a shirt that had pictures of everyone on the Dream Team on it. And John was asking her if she had met anyone on the team and she mentioned that she met Charles Barkley. His kids actually gave it away when they started saying their dad was on her shirt. As for your other question, I don't think it's online.

My dogs names are Stockton and Malone, my next dog will be named Larry Bird. That was possibly the best documentary I have ever seen.

i wish they had more highlights of the games and stuff. one highlight per game in like 50 point blowouts was so annoying. i turned it off after like half way. ya i know mj stockton malone and bird and magic and barkley are legends but that style was boring. i like todays game better for the most part. durant would've slayed back then.

The documentary was boring or the playing style of the Dream Team? I'm hoping you meant just the documentary.

I was pleasantly surprised to see footage of the legendary scrimmage in Monaco. I had always heard that the gym was closed and they just went at each other but apparently someone was there to film it. I would pay to watch it.

You just gave carolinajazz a heart attack

I have it on DVR and haven't watched it yet.

I heard that a part is dedicated to discussing Thomas' snub. MJ, Pippen, Malone, etc wouldn't have played had Thomas been on the team.

Cry me a river. Thomas was, is, and always will be a jackass. I'm so glad Malone destroyed him.

That being said I totally respect the dude that came off the bench to try and fight Malone, that takes a huge set of balls

Who was it? My reaction would depend on the guy. For example if it was a guy like...Ron Artest, Charles Barkley, Bill Lambier, Dennis Rodman, Rasheed Wallace, Alonzo Mourning...I would not be suprised.

Now if we are talking about a guy like Carmelo Anthony or some nobody I would be stunned and have to rethink my stance on his pansyness.

It was Darrell Walker.

It was Darrell Walker.

Yeah that took some balls. Guy is 6'4 180 lbs on average. Malone had him by 5 inches and 85ish lbs. Not to mention the fact that he looked like he was carved from stone.
