Because she's running for Congress, and if elected she will be the first black female Republican in Congress.
They would have put all the people who lost their jobs under Obamanomics up there on stage, but they wouldn't fit.

Obviously Bob Byrd made lots of assassination attempts on the 83 African-American United States Congresspersons that were African American during his terms in the House and Senate. 3 of them were even GOP members.
