What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Oh, and I still haven't watched Inception.

Oh, and I still haven't watched Inception.

How was this? Seriously, I'm tired of the whole (dys)functional family movie, ********. Sort of like how you're tired of WWII and understandably so. I just don't think I could stomach the movie especially since Annette Bening would be in my top five chicks I'd kill (does she ever play a role that isn't annoying and/or pathetic?) and Julianne Moore's bein' creepin' up that same ladder for years.

I saw Salt over the weekend. Enjoyable action flick, but some over the top stunts annoyed the hell out of me. Pretty good and interesting plot as well.

I just finished up all 10 episodes -- it's not really a 'movie', so to speak, but it was long enough to be 3.

Anyhow, I cried like a baby at the end of the last disc. So tragic and so sad. On the flip side, I would recommend this series to everyone.

Borrow it to me?

Watching a skinny chick beat up a bunch of guys is so stupid that I couldnt watch that movie. I would be laughing the whole time.

I liked it. Thought it was very well written.

Well, she's certainly unpleasant at times again here so that's not changing for you.

Given that she's a PTA regular, I'm kind of surprised.

One of the previews that played for The Kids Are All Right called It's Kind of A Funny Story looks pretty good actually. Teen version of One Flew over the Cukoos Nest

dumb action comedy, but I enjoy these type of movies that don't take themselves too seriously. interesting cast, rob corrdry(spelling?) is a funny dude. not bad for a straight 2 blu ray.

Is that Zach what's his name? Ellen Barkin? I can't make out anyone else.

Infernal Affairs. Meh.

Since The Departed was adapted from it, it was tough not to compare. Yet I think I'm being objective when I say it barely holds a candle to The Departed. There was very, very little exposition unlike Monahan's script and in turn little character development which killed this for me. In addition, some of the more powerful scenes were accompanied by soft music (and awful flashback montages) like you may hear as you enter a room to get a massage thus amping up the awful cheesiness for me. Now, I'll readily admit that I haven't seen a whole lot of foreign language films but some of the ones I have seen (Amores Perros, Life is Beautiful) blew me away upon their first viewing. This, not even close. I'd give it a 5 or 6 out of 10.
