The Debates

Romney owning Obama and Jim, both .. lol.

Lol, I think Obama has gotten stronger the last minute or two but I think Romney is more than holding his won.

It has gotten much more into specifics that at the very beginning.

I personally like the fact that the "mederator" is letting them directly go at each other. Let the topics flow. At some point change the topic but let them flow.

Wether it is the debators intention or not it is refreshing.

Obama has not been that great, but I'm just not seeing this as some kind of beatdown.

I'm curious how fact-checkers are going to come out on the $5 trillion tax cut issue. I know Romney isn't going to let his campaign be run by fact checkers or whatever, but I can't totally figure out if he jettisoned something tonight or if he's playing some kind of more subtle game.

Jim Lehrer is the truth and always has been. Even if Mitt threatened his job.

From a pure debate standpoint, Mitt is losing points by not taking the fight like the headhunting boxer he is. He just had a chance to sympathize with the misguided Bill Clinton policies of assisting urban poor following the suburban manufacturing migration while pointing to the eventual downfall of Obamby's pick the winners and losers policies that eventually hurt those poor urban citizens the most. He should have pointed this out then countered with a welfare-to-jobs proposal while pointing out O's jobs-to-welfare preferences.

Obama is slamming Romney on healthcare on his most-recent blurb, IMO. Trying to listen in a non-biased manner. I just started tuning in ten minutes ago, missed Romney apparently handing it to Obama.

Obama "4 years ago when I was running around campaigning for president..."

Wait...you mean you stopped?

Sorry, I thought it was funny.

for someone who advocates tax cuts for the so-called job creators, Romney sure does a fine job of shipping his money offshore and hiding it. Kinda interesting...

LOL gotta love how Obama just smoked Romney in health care. Basically, Romney was for Obamacare before he was against it....

Your first point is not even worth addressing. Most all wealthy Americans have an aggressive tax strategy.

Your 2nd point is pathetic. Romney is for a healthcare plan, yes, but for Obamacare, specifically? Link?

Obama with a good attack on Romney about Massachusets health care.

Romney with a good attack on Obama about bipartisanship to get things down.

Bama pointed out the similarities between the Massachussets healthcare system, and Obamacare. Romney did not have a single solid retort that refuted this notion.

To be honest, I had to get my 2 year old out of the bath and missed a chunk of time. I'm willing to concede because I don't know.

I'd even go so far as to say the last 10 minutes have belonged to Obama.

Romney needs to finish strong....

You didn't build that?

Well, at least you admitted your ignorance... Here's a cookie

LOL Romney is failing right now... To be honest, he had debated pretty well, I thought... But he's just choking right now at the FT line late in the game.

Mitt always looks in meltdown mode. He has to fix that. Just because you can spitfire 1,456 words a minute doesn't make it better. I feel like he's giving me a sermon.

When Mitt goes confident on the facts (jobs and economy), he looks great.

Wow Obama is worse than I thought. It's painful to listen to his responses. You almost feel bad for him.
