I really like Carroll.

We have plenty of scorers.

We need guys who don't require shots to score and who are down with playing defense and doing the dirty work.

He has been a real nice pickup IMO.

From what I've seen this preseason, Kanter >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jefferson. He's quicker, much larger, is a lot better defender, and eats rebounds. Jefferson has a weezy shot and that's it.
 
Six minutes and 6 and 4 already for Kanter...let me see, that's 36 and 24 per36.
Gotta love him for 6th man of the year - if he gets minutes.
 
Some Clipper just pushed Evans in the back hard during the inbounds of that play...anyone else catch that?

Agree. Carroll has made strides from just a high-energy, defensive-only player.

We need to see Kanter dominate subs once the games start counting. Then let him have some burn against opposing starters. I still think the Jazz will hang on to both Jefferson and Millsap through the deadline to retain their rights. Paul is probably the preferred choice, but if he goes elsewhere, Jazz would probably make an offer to Al.
