What would it take to get Eric Bledsoe?

NEVERMIND! I just got it. Derrrrrrr.. I was thinking, "what does England have to do with this?"

haha, well played..

If he can run the PnR, then I'm all ears.

If he can't, I'm not interested (for what would likely be the cost [salary or trade package]). Almost at all.

That said, I haven't been paying attention. Seems more like a ballhandling SG in a PG's body to me, and we might have a ballhandling SG in an SG's body.

I have been a big fan of Bledsoe since his days at Kentucky but Millsap and the GS pick are way too much to give up. The Jazz need to be patient and they may be able to just sign him if the Clips sign CP3 to an extension they are not going to be able to pay Bledsoe.

We will, but let's keep it real. Even if CP3 signed with the Jazz, he'd force his way out within a couple years.

And I'm sure you wouldn't be able to get anything for trading Chris Paul.

Anytime you can sign a franchise/max guy, you do it. Period. Not that I'm saying it's likely, but the Jazz might as well give him a call.

You're definitely correct here.

At the same time.... wouldn't CP3 cost the Jazz too much?
I.E. not being able to sign the rest of the team, due to being over the cap?

When Bledsoe becomes a RFA, I could definitely see Utah making a run at him. I'd be curious, though, if Eric Maynor comes back strong from his injury this season, will Utah would make a run at him? I don't think he is starting material like Bledsoe is, but with Watson and Tinsley probably done after this season, Utah will have a need for a back-up point guard and OKC has Reggie Jackson being groomed for that role.

I can see why you'd think Watson might be done after this season because of injury, but why would you say Tinsley would be done after this season?

They might not be done playing but both of there contracts expire after this year. So they might be done playing Utah is what I got out of it

I'm far more interested in the possibilities of finding a good point guard in next year's draft. A pick at 6 our lower could yield a good talent.
