why do u think im playing a "character"

I think I was one of the ones that proposed a high-five system originally, but this was not what I had in mind. There are forums where you can high five a post and it then puts your name (as well as anyone else that has high fived said post) under the post, basically showing that certain people approve of that post. No rep points, no neg reps, no drama caused by adults acting like middle schoolers...just a simple way to say good post without having to make a post of your own. Some time ago I proposed completely doing away with the rep system as it caused more problems than it was worth.
lol, now mulitple mods are negging me. this is what happens when u question a mod bros! even if ur right, they cant infract/ban u, so theyll just run a mod neg train choooo choooooooooooo!
This was me. I just told him that no one cares anymore. Neg-rep is something he cares about apparently so I gave him one.
A persistent pattern in problem users has been an unwavering belief that the moderating team has to put up with any abuse that they can dish out while simultaneously the mods should constantly bend over backwards to never show them the slightest bit of unkindness. That's essentially what you're seeing here. HH's stock in trade at this point is to wage a one-sided vendetta against a particular moderator over a long period of time over an issue that, I think everyone agrees, is completely trivial. The scope of that mission has apparently expanded to include colton, a person who basically doesn't have a malicious bone in his body. At the same time, complaining about anything and everything that the mods do to him is, of course, fair game. And apparently EVERYTHING the mods do, including taking steps to tell him to just knock it off, is an example of how we're being mean and unfair to him. At the end of the day, I know that I don't care enough about HH's contributions to the board to worry if he's a happy user. I suspect a good chunk of the board doesn't either. That's the downside of being abrasive and devisive.

*divisive
how's THAT for not having any malicious bones? ;-)
you got me all wrong bro. I have no vendetta or mission against the mods. i just had a problem with one post that BigB made and I wanted an answer for why he would say something like that. it was genuinely offensive to me. and what made it worse is that he made these false statements while i was banned and couldnt even respond. but whatever im over it. I even tried to resolve it via PM and not in public but apparently he had me on block and wasnt able to get my PM. i dont complain about everything the mods do at all, in fact when i got banned for a week or whatever i even agreed that i deserved it. i just dont think the way BigB acted is professional/appropriate even for a sports messageboard moderator. thats all. and i've said I'm ready to drop it, but if you wanna continue negging me and make blanket statement posts like the one above to demonize me, then go for it bro. the one in power writes the history books and i'll fall in line, sir. This was me. But shortly after I did send the PM, someone went into my profile and changed my location, and then it was permanently edited so i could not have the "WE ARE UTAAAAH!" location anymore. Petty way to "get back" at me for calling you out on your false claims, mods. Very petty.
Do worry NM......

Nothing wrong with the rep system.
Keep it Jason.
