What's new

If we lose to Charlotte tonight...

Money owed.

Additionally, if they want to keep Demarre's value down, they've probably done a good job.

Wouldn't it make more sense to not play him. Thus making him want to leave. Then we dont have him for next year. If we keep starting his stupid ***, then he will more likely want to stay.

I say give Marvin no hope of playing at all so he will opt out.

Holy ****. I hate the way our team thinks.

great point

I see it in the rebounding but I think Enes is a better defender and I don't think he will ever be the 3pt shooter Love is.

Love actually hurts his team when he starts doing that. He is the best rebounder in the league, so stepping away from the basket to shoot 35% (career) on threes is an epic fail.

That's true. I suspect Kanter won't really try to extend his range to the 3 line.

I hope we hang onto Demarre

Mighy be hard to do that.

Another reason why our FO and coach is retarded. There might be other teams eyeing him right now and why wouldn't he want to play some where else where he is given more of a chance to play, and isn't sitting behind a guy who sucks ***.

Most players aren't stupid. They understand that playing opportunity is important to their earning potential.

Yeah probably will be. Either way glad for him he made it back and has solidified himself as an NBA player.

It's crazy how much the FO and coach are trying to sabotage their own team. This should be really simple.

EDIT: Cyrone Torbin negged me for this comment. Apparently he believes playing Marvin the one point wonder over DeMarre Carroll is the right move.

Can everyone please calm down about Favors? Last game he looked great and managed to play 38 minutes with a great impact on the game.

He, like everyone on the team, needs to work on his consistency.

Who's freaking out about Favors?

I think Favors eyes widened a little night with a defensive stiff like Mullens on him and he tried to force too much - then he got caught with a couple of frustration fouls which I thought were kind of chippy.

But hell Favors might of had a 20/20 night against a much better team if he played 44 minutes Wednesday.

I think all of this is true. Heck, I'd be excited if Mullens was guarding me.

OG what's up brother???

Let's just say I'm happier tonight about the Jazz then I have been in a while. Probably since the "Hayward breaking out against Kobe in LA" game.

Honestly, I feel justified in calling for this even if it was against the Kitties.

I don't think there is a reasin to freak out about Favors yet. He still is only 21. His defense is great and his offense is good sometimes and bad other times. Its just being compared to Kanter that is making his offense look bad. Its more that Kanter is just showing he is an offensive stud that makes ya wonder why Favors isn't doing the same. There is a small amount of concern though relating to his motor and learning curve. But again, he is only 21. Dont push the panic button just yet.

Considering no team in the NBA would pay him anything close to what he's due? How many people do you know that turn down at least $2 million dollars? Also, he'll make less money on his next contract if he decides to opt out after getting taken out of the rotation.

If there's a precedent for what you're talking about (bad players leaving $7 million+ on the table strictly because of pride), I'd like to know what it is. Latrell Sprewell comes to mind, but he was unbelievably dumb and I can't think of anyone else.
