Not to go too gospel, but love sure would solve most of this world's problems. Any system, dispostion, or government Bereft of Altruism is going to be less effective, which is displayed pervasively in the world today. This seems to support the idea that Jesus understood human dignity and human potenial better than heralded figures that came before him. Anyway... Back to Dennis :)

Yes totally agreed with this.

If there is 1 single truth in this world that we can all agree on (if we're honest with ourselves), it is the LOVE of a mother. Mothers love their children without any hidden agenda, without any selfish intentions, regardless of whether or not the child overs her back. That love is so pure that she does not need any effort to express it. She can forgive her son, no matter what he had done. No matter if he is a criminal, a drug addict, or even if he's the President of the USA, she'll always love him in the same way.

To me that is what life is about. That's our challenge in our world. To love one another on this earth the same way that our mothers have loved us. Can we do it? Can we forgive someone who hated us the way our mother has forgiven us? Can we have compassion on someone who has wronged us? Can we look someone else in the eye and say "I understand your pain - and I will help you" ?

If we can do all that, this world will be full of peace and Joy. And there will be a lot less suffering than what we see today.

Some moms sell their children to child prostitute rings.
 
As an example - yesterday I called NAOS out on one of his negative comments on my (admittedly) stupid thread on trading Ty.

He could have just let it go and/or reply with a smart "comeback". Instead - he pos-repped me for calling him out on it.

That's just pure class on his part.


How can there be hate - when someone does that to you? It just goes to show what a little bit of self sacrifice & forgiveness can bring to this world.
