He is 'The Beast from the East (Turkey)'.

A unique combination of size, strength and skills.

He has the motor, work ethic, mobility, touch, range, footwork, moves and a nose for the ball.

The sky is literarily the limit for him. No one on this Jazz team has his potential, imo.

He has the physical tools to be an All-Star. Touch, strength, physicality, motor.

Well, Kanter has the motor, discipline, focus and work ethic which Villanueva never possessed.

He also has body hair, which Villanueva never possessed.

I can see Kanter being a top 3 big within the next three years if Ty will let him play. The combination of strength, size, and skill that he possesses is rare.

If we only had Hornacek as our head coach next season and this team:

Schroeder (or Carter Williams) - Kabongo - Burks
Hayward - Burks - Korver
Webster - Carroll - Adetokoubo
Kanter - Landry - Evans - Adetokoubo
Favors - Dalembert (or Aldrich)

What's with the Martell Webster love????????

Good size and length. Good shooter.

Not a great athlete. His lateral quickness is not good, average defender and athlete.

I like him. Good player to get him around 25 minutes per game and won't be expensive. There aren't many better options around.

We still don't know, but I think he could be a franchise player (or something closest to that). A player with his presence in the post paired with a surprising nimbleness and impressive shooting ability (PnR potential, could he become a threat facing up?) could be a NIGHTMARE to defend. Has the ability to be a tremendous rebounder, post defender, and he's been much better in help than I thought he would be. I think he is the best talent of The Four, and I am more certain of that than the loftier proclamations.

But again, let's see. The Jazz haven't seen enough of the roster that they know they have to have a ton of confidence and they have no one but themselves to blame.

This. I have more hope for Kwame Kanter than anyone else on the team, and possibly in this draft class as well. It's amazing how raw he still is.

I liked him a lot better when I thought he was 6'11". He has a wide array of moves but he's a bit more under the rim than I thought he would be.

I think low-end double/double guy. I'd like to see how far out he can take his jumper before I make a prediction. If I had to guess I'd say not an all-star.

He is the only player on the team that I think will end up being everything we hope he will be. I'm very confident he will be a all star. Can't say the same about Favors and Hayward. When ever he got the minutes, he produced.

As I said waaaay back prior to us making the selection and taking Enes... I know his shot has good consistent range out to 3. He just needs more PT and to continue to settle in.

Since I saw him nail that garbage 3 in NY my imagination has been running wild. WHAT IF that shot is THAT for real? What if he can drive even just as well as Memo did (any reason to believe he couldn't at least eventually pull that off?)?

Again, he gets my imagination going. He could just be such a problem for opposing defenses if he keeps at it and keeps improving like he has.

My favorite player and skies the limit for the kid. However I refuse to allow myself to get caught up in the hype. Cause until I see him in action day in and day out against other starters, I will see him as he is. A young kid with very little experience and a shoulder injury that I pray doesn't come back to haunt him. But the future is bright in what we have seen thus far.

Did you really just hope out loud that Kanter will be able to drive as well as Memo? Memo was slow as ****. He is already better than Memo.

People laughed it off when Calipari said he has a Karl skillset... he never said he'd be as good.. just used Karl as a comp.
