Following potential 2013 draftees

Hopping on the bandwagon of James Southerland at 46! Great length and wingspan, can defend and shoots the ball well. I want Southerland over Bullock.

best shooter in the draft. character concerns are devaluing him, certainly, not talent

what makes you think he can defend? dont they play zone in syracuse?

Some little news, not much of it Jazz related:

CJ McCollum in Portland today. Saying he could play alongside Lillard.
Shabazz working out for Sacramento.

Cleveland now saying they are considering McClemore @#1. They don't know what they are doing and would really like to trade out of the 1st spot. I think they put out a new rumour each week with a different player in hopes of scaring someone into trading up.

Dallas offered Cleveland the 13th pick for this:

• The Dallas Mavericks are intensely shopping the No. 13 overall pick, with hopes of moving out of the lottery and obtaining assets of their own.

• One such proposal, according to sources, involved the Mavs offering the 13th pick and veteran forward Shawn Marion to the Cavs for the Cavs’ two second-round selections (Nos. 31 and 33) and a 2014 pick. The Cavs passed on the offer.

I also read somewhere and forgot to copy the link that teams are more concerned with Noel's cirlce of influence than they are of his knee.

Wonder what that means (circle of influence)? Kid is a stellar kid, wonderful support, and a tireless worker. Seems odd.
I'd be more concerned with his offensive rawness and lack of bulk/strength.

It was a tweet and didn't eloborate. I might have the words a bit off, but the idea I gathered was that a person or people around him. It stood out to me because that was the first time I heard/read anything like that about him....course I should have expected it, him being a Kentucky guy and all. You know what kind of people hang around there....

ah man your way dumber than i thought... every part of what you just said is dead wrong, id tell you the truth but it would probably hurt your feelings

woman? i learned my lesson with older chicks, and chicks with kids, years ago so im thinking of dating younger this summer

Hotttnickkk youd trade 14 and 21 for Trey Burke though?.... i wouldent

You didn't get my point, which was a metaphor for not rushing into something just because we're lacking a PG right now.

Save up, accumulate your assets, get decent guys at #14 and #21 this year, and make a run at the Harrison brothers next year. Don't just rush out and throw #14 and #21 to get Schroeder.

LOL... Mavs tried to rape Cavs for all its worth. Good thing they know better. 3 picks and Marion's contract for #13 pick? Anyone would say no to that.

I would still do our #21 and Marion's contract for Mavs' #13 though. Grab Schroeder & Adams/Gobert/Olynyk and that's a solid core going forward.

Agree. Early 2nd's are more valuable than late 1st's due to being non-guaranteed. If Dallas wants to dump Marion's salary, then they should be including a pick to do so, not asking for 3 picks in return. AS you said, the offer should be the #21 for the #13 plus Marion's big contract.

Giving Dallas the 21st pick means they still need to pay that salary, but at least they unload Marion.

How much say does everyone think Sloan will have in this draft?
What if Corbin wants someone else?
That could pose some problems down the road.
