I believe LeBron is just the 4th player to ever record 30+ points 10+ rebounds 10+ assists in a Finals game. The others were Barkley, Worthy, and West.

Great clutch finish by a great player... that's what chips are all about.
Great series.
I was watching a lot of the soccer game during the first half and trying to care about it..... then I realized that soccer sucks and I just started watching the nba.
I was switching back and forth a lot early and I noticed when I would go to the soccer game that everything was all quiet and I would sit there and watch guys pass the ball around and fake injuries and kick it out of bounds all while nothing was really happening that mattered.

Then I would switch to the bball game and it was loud and intense and exciting the whole time.... lots of runs in the bball game. Miami would get down by like ten and then charge back into the game on a nice run. Back and forth battle.

The soccer game ends the half in a zero zero tie..... and then mid second half there is finally a goal. Yippee

Basketball for the win

I agree. What a game. I was on the edge of my coach for the 4th and OT. Bummed SA didn't win but man oh man...

What a game. Wish SA could have pulled it out. They had the heat buried. I think my biggest disappointment is in knowing that the heat will probably win... And win big... In game 7.

They just survived San Antonio's best shot

The end of regulation brings endless debate between European and NBA way of defending when you are down 3 points. 99% of the European coaches would have ordered to foul and not allow three point attempt. Then even if Heat make 2 FT you still have 1 pt lead with possesion and just a few seconds left to kill. I have seen both strategies being successful and backfire as well. What do you guys think? Should Spurs fouled with 10 sec left before that first 3 pt attempt?

I don't think so. If Tim Duncan was actually in for that possession, I don't see how those two offensive rebounds would not have been secured. Poor, poor coaching by Poppovich. This is far worse than Vogel not keeping Hibbert in against Miami in the ECF

Yes you should always foul in that situation..... 100 percent of the time

Yes duncan should have been in.... but if he was in, with miami going super small with all thier 3 point shooters in, then there is a decent chance that duncan would struggle to guard the 3 point line and the heat would have a got a decent look at a 3.
Plus you can always use screens to get a decent 3 point shot off.

ALWAYS FOUL IN THAT SITUATION imo

First 3 pt miss was so bad that ball clanked of the rim at really weird angle, not sure Duncan would made a difference there, just a freak lucky bounce which went Miami's way. I think Duncan may have had chance on that second missed three as Bosh just outreached Ginobili in that one. So much luck involved in those two shots that I don't want to blame Pop for that. To me is understandable that 21 year old Kawhi missed FT but Ginobili? 3 x nba champ, Olympic and world champ and can't ice the win in that situation?

Yup. Not to mention his 7 or 8 turnovers. I pin this loss on Popp and Ginobli.

I dislike both teams, tbh. Curious to see if the Spurs stand up, and fight for their lives on game 7-- or if they'll just bend over and take the ***-whooping of their lives.

In my opinion, game 7 will come down to the role players. Miami has been shown to keep Duncan, Parker, and Manu in check. The biggest difference maker will be whether players like: Gary Neal; Danny Green; Matt Bonner (lol); or Splitter show up, and play out of their minds.

I can't see the Heat winning if Green goes off for 7-8 threes.

Goes both ways, mind you. Heat would not have won without huge contributions for Ray Allen. Dude was just monstrous

Spurs got homered at the end. Two fouls on Ginobili and Green, and two no calls. The one on Ginobili was blatant.

Got negged for this -- I did watch the entire game. Doesn't matter what happened before. The refs refused to make the calls. JVG made the same statement, so I guess you should neg him too.

At the same time, it's no excuse because the Spurs make their free throws and the game is over before OT.

Miami needed a bit of help from the refs to get a win. Nothing new here.

what help?

clean play.

did the refs help this shot go in?

Steve Javie is on ESPN defending the calls. OMG what a ***********. Every sentence that comes out of his mouth is just wrong. Hard to say which are stupid and which are lies.

Scootsy the fouls occurred before and after the pics were taken in your evidence. See Allens right hand on Gino' right arm on photo3?. That was just before the 2nd foul. The first and more important one occurred before pic 1.
Good job using photos to lie.
Also, I was not talking about just one play.
