Following potential 2014 draftees

Wow.. really??? Aaron at #20??? Am I missing something??? He can't shoot 3's ????

And where is Kasey Hill???

Its not that Andrew is "better" than Aaron. It's that he plays PG and has elite size for that position. Aaron is a bit undersized for the SG spot.. and is not an exceptional athlete. Aaron WILL get time at PG this year and how he plays that position will affect his stock drastically, imo.

If he can even play PG well.. he'll skyrocket because he's an elite shooter and scorer.

sweet with that early prognostication the jazz would end up wit both Aarons Gordon and Harrison.

Burke
Harrison, burks
Hayward
Gordon, kanter
favors, Gobert

with Gordon getting time at the 3 with Hayward at the 2 nd burks at the 1 in a big line up.

I don't see Gordon displacing Kanter to the bench.

Yeah but with the GSW pick, I think Aaron is good value.. I think he can play the PG - may be a better version of Eric Bledsoe??

Totally different players. Aaron much bigger than Bledsoe. Aaron a much better shooter/scorer. Eric a WAY BETTER athlete.

I also predict we'll end up drafting Andrew Harrison and dealing Burke + the GS pick for a late lottery selection. AS PKM said, Andrew has elite size for a PG; Burke does not. In that 5-7 range, Harrison is going to be the BPA and PG will still be our greatest weakness. Much easier to pick up decent wings in free agency than starting PG's.

Burke is going to win ROY though sooo...

So Burke would be Rickey Green and Harrison is John Stockton. Burke has the potential to be good, but he'll always be short and always find it challenging to get his shot off, especially when he tries to take it to the rim. Andrew Harrison is 6'5" and has the potential to be GREAT.

Even if Burke does play ok this year, I think I'm leaning towards Harrison at this point. Every team needs two good PG's. And Andrew H. can even play off the ball, like Deron did when he and Maynor were in the game together. In the absence of getting Wiggins or Parker, I think Harrison would be a great pick.

No doubt, Harrison is the reason why we shouldn't have drafted a point guard and just signed one in free agency as a rental for a year.

As a Kentucky fan and a fan of Andrew (as well as someone who has been watching him for three years already).. I am cautious about my optimism until I see him play this year.

I know that's obvs and no fun, but I felt it needed to be said.

I don't think the Jazz deal Burke within his first three years. I think they give him that long to get it together.

I'm not as confident as you are. I think every player is able to be traded and likely to be if not looking like they're trending toward a future piece.

Aaron (we could end up getting both of these guys.... (chemistry and they'd stick.. they value staying together as much as money, srsly)

Willie Cauley-Stein - keep your eyes open, bros. He may not be a need, but yikes he could be good.
