Following potential 2014 draftees

Cool quote by Caliapri on Aaron Harrison.

Aaron Harrison, big guard, can score the ball, should be and will be and is expected to be and will be demanded to be a lock-down defender. With his size, with his athleticism, one we can play a big zone. Two, we should be able to press because we're going to be so big with our guard play and whoever we put up there. But it will start with Aaron.

Dude, how confused are defendres going to be.

They be like, yo I'm guarding Harrison, then the otehr guy be like im guarding him too, then they get switche up and they are all confusd and ****. UK for the win.

My favorite is Aaron Harrison.

The unloved twin.

I've always loved him, and have been on record for a while now saying that grabbing Aaron with the GSW pick would be an absolute steal for the Jazz:

I think hoping for #4 and #16 is a very very realistic expectation.

If that's the case, you've definitely got to consider the possibility of grabbing Andrew Harrison at #4 and grabbing Aaron Harrison at #16. To me they are BPA at those spots and we'll be set at the PG and SG spots for the next 7 years.

Andrew Harrison/Burke
Aaron Harrison/Burks
Hayward
Favors
Kanter/Gobert

======================================

Andrew & Aaron Harrison are Westbrook/Harden 2.0 waiting to happen. Add to that a glue guy in Hayward. And potential 2-way studs in Kanter and Favors, I think we'll be pretty much unstoppable, with about 2-3 years window for an NBA Championship.

Lol... it's also a great way to limit fouls. One gets in trouble.. just switch jerseys.

Hey, why not draft both Harrison's? Might give us a better chance of keeping them in Utah. Difference with them vs. the Collins' or Morris' is that both are actually great prospects. I was never really sold on Marcus or Markieff and the only reason Jason Collins went as high as he did was his size. I think if the GS pick is in the early-20's, we might be able to trade up by buying another pick or sending the 35th (or whatever we have in the 2nd round) to a team. Often those early 2nd's are more valuable than late 1st's - gives a team a chance to pick from about the same pool of prospects, but doesn't lock them into a guaranteed contract if the player doesn't pan out.

Exactly what I've been saying. Grab them both please. The Jazz Org. has always preached the importance of "Family" as well.

Outside of Wiggins and Parker, who EVERYONE is going to follow, I'd have to say I'm most intrigued by Randle and Andrew Harrison. Randle seems to have a complete game - dominant inside and can step out and hit the jump shot. If DL determines Favors and Kanter are both inside players - and Gobert develops - I'd be ok with drafting Randle and trading Derrick or Enes for a wing or PG. He may not even have to do that, though, if Randle can pick up some minutes at SF.

I know it's too early to determine how good/bad Burke is, but the ONE thing we know for certain is he'll never be taller than 6'0". Harrison is 6'5": that can create a lot of mismatches at the PG position. And he'll probably be a lot better at setting picks and withstanding physical play. We know KOC liked creating mismatches; that's why he drafted Hayward and envisioned him playing quite a bit at SG. Not sure what DL's philosophy is.

Will Jazz fans ever get out of the mindset of, "let's pick this guy because I think he has a better chance of staying here?" I hope so, because it comes across as extremely imature, sensitive, and needy. Basically we're the 12 yr old girl of NBA fans.

It's a secondary consideration if there are players essentially tied for BPA. Do you not think it played a role in drafting Deron over CP3? Paul didn't want to work out for the Jazz. Deron traveled to Utah.

Perfect example. CP3 is better and we still ended up trading Deron because the FO was sure he was on the way out.

It would go a long way. Srsly. These two still share a room at home even though there's room for them to not have to. They are unbelievably close.

I hated the Morris twins.
