Team USA Scrimmage on NBA TV, 7/25 @ 7PM MST

Does your Mom know you're watching this on a school night bro?

Not sure whats funnier: you being butthurt over Goose whooping ur *** @ Poker, or you being butthurt over your main-squeeze Paul24 getting Dairy-Queened by GodHayward

Derrick is a real defensive presence inside. He guards the pick-and-roll, and he rebounded pretty well. It wasn't pretty, but he's got a shot at the team next year. He or Greg Monroe might make the team. I'm not sure what to think about Cousins.

Well why worry about fouls when you can't foul out? Besides two of the fouls were attempting to cover up mistakes by teammates. Derrick does need to stop making silly fouls like he has in the past. You can't give away fouls when you are a starter.

Derrick played for most of that second quarter. Thanks Thibs. I think he's the best defending big-man of the lot, along with Drummond and Sanders.

I really don't think Monroe will make it. They have scoring-- they're either gonna look for great passing-bigmen, or defensive studs a la Tyson Chandler (especially seeing as Tyson is getting old)

For what, playmaking? I don't think so. Jarrett Jack won them very many games from his playmaking. Things will be a lot harder for Curry this season

Ok that's your opinion I guess.
I was saying iggy is the better player and I think if you asked all the nba gm's who they would rather have, a good back up point guard, or a multiple time allstar and olympic gold medal winner, I think most would take the all star/olympian

Its my opinion that iggy/speights is a better combo than jack/landry

In a vacuum, of course.

I think that you could easily argue that the Warriors would be better off with Jack and Landry than Iggy and Speights though.

I argue that speights can do what landry does and iggy is exactly what they need (defense, length and athleticism)

I probably agree with you Fish, but Jack really helped define Warriors style. He came in and shot the ball a ton and was an explosive scorer. AI will give them a lot more versatility, but they will miss the spark Jack gave them off the bench. They are probably hoping Barnes can fill that role off the bench, but has yet to be seen if he can do it like Jack did.

Landry gave them toughness and hustle that they really don;t have anywhere else, especially when Bogut is out. Speights is actually a pretty good rebounder and shooter, but lacks the intangibles and defense that Landry gives them.

Funny thing is I actually really like jack and am not a big fan of iggy (I think he is a bit overrated) but when I see a lineup of curry, thompson, iggy, lee, and bogut...... I just think that's a pretty stacked lineup.

Truth. I think their season lies in Thompson's and Barnes' hands. Can they evolve their games to something beyond 3pt shooting? Especially Barnes.

Well we all agree that waiters sucks, that's fo sho.

Cleveland drafts dumb.... its like they try to surprise people with thier picks just for shock value.

Waiters, thompson, bennett, zeller..... I think all thise picks were reaches/bad value picks.

Irving was obvious and easy decision
