It would be cool if you were Hopper.

Best poster in my short history on the board. I asked him to apply for re-instatement. Got a response from "him" that some characters need to die.

Lol. Only people I really didn't like we're Cy (I'm fine with him now) and the alts (Craig2121112221 , northeast...)

Trout went out with Craig once, and your alt Fat Trainer knows him from another board. I wish Trout hadn't chased him off. Guy could dish but couldn't take it and ran off butt hurt. One of the best posters ever though.

Hopper was truly the worst.

Not in a vinylone or BluesRocker make you mad kind of way but in a carolinajazz thriller type of way where you never read a single one of their posts because they are stuck on repeat.

Back on topic. . .

There's three ways to get more picks. A.) Trade for an expiring contract at the trade deadline so that a team can lower or eliminate their tax bill. B.) Trade Brandon Rush before the trade deadline to a contender that needs a solid wing player for their playoff push. C.) Buy a pick on draft night.

A.) The Jazz have shown that they're willing to do this to acquire assets, and I expect them to do again if they get another opportunity. Hopefully it's for an expiring contract, but that might not be the case depending on the value of the pick coming back. There's also a chance that the Jazz will use this type of move to acquire future assets next offseason right before the loaded free agency period gets going and won't want extra salary that could mess that up. Even then, they likely won't get as much as they did from GSW this year, but who knows what a desperate team will pay for cap space?

B.) This assumes that Brandon Rush returns healthy and is effective. If he proves those things and plays well, his low salary makes him a very attractive option for a team in need of a quality wing player. IMO, the six young core players (Kanter, Favors, Hayward, Burks, Burke and Gobert) should be off the table until the Jazz see exactly what they can do. Other than Rush, nobody will want any of the Jazz bench players for a playoff run. They simply aren't good enough, or cost way too much. They're worth more to the Jazz as expiring contracts. Rush might be worth something, but that depends on his knee. My hope is that they flip him for another 1st round pick. I don't care what year it's from. I don't see him as a key piece for the future.

C.) Again, the Jazz used this effectively this offseason. 2014 is very top-heavy, and many teams will still value cash and cap space more than the player they can draft in the mid-to-late 20's. I say that's a bunch of crap if you're good at evaluating players. 2014 will be a much better draft than 2013, and the Jazz managed to grab Gobert at 27. Plus, they have multiple 2nd round picks that can be used as well as cash. A top heavy draft will still have players who slide. Buying a pick is a great way to take advantage of other teams mistakes when that happens. The key is being ready and willing to pull the trigger on that deal when the moment arrives.

Nobody will be convinced by you and your ****. I signed back up for two reasons: first, to tell a few jokes with friends; second, to take every opportunity to **** all over you and your stupid posts. Since I've already done that, and collected plenty of rep for it, nobody will be surprised to hear you and your fake rubber fist (70 rep!) come in here and try to rain on my parade.

You're wrong. And it's hilarious.

I'm not wrong--I'm accurately reporting what Jason told the mods. It's possible that Jason was mistaken, but I was under the impression that he was just telling us what you had told him. It's also possible that you lied to him. Or it's possible that you told him the truth then and are lying now.

P.S. If my 70 rep really gets you that upset, you should really get a life outside of jazzfanz.
