Didn't the Dallas FO say he was let go not because he was a bad coach, but because he couldn't take criticism?

Now that I type that out... with the way the media is with our coaches here in Utah it almost seems like Utah would be a perfect place for the guy.

Ye add to that that his very dictatorial leadership style usually wears out on players in todays NBA after a couple years. So if there was a small contention window with immediate need to exchange coaches -> YES

What about George Karl aka. The Trinity Killer? He was coach of the year just 5 months ago and i think he have that qualifications and could be a great mentor for the young squad.

We dont gonna need overwhelming defense anyway since we are tanking. He seems like the best one available and it would take some more years for us to compete in playoff level considering his earlier playoff disappointments. But in regular season he played Nuggets one of the best basketball of last season.

For tanking purposes none is better than Corbin. For individual player development of young guys Karl is not the solution. I guess Lindsey will find someone none has ever heard about who'll be responsible for rebuilding and then when his contract runs out he had 1 shot to make the playoffs. After that it's either extend or find a more experienced one with playoff experience.
