Tru Talent modeling agency in Utah = Scam?

What's worse? Me paying 2 grand for some performance shoes or marcus paying 2 grand for sex (more than likely with a male or an animal like a pig, goat, or llama) and being charged with a felony?

How about a big old carp?

At least I'd get something for my $2k

That's why I only date established models. If a girl hasn't walked the runways of Paris, Milan, Miami, and New York....I'm not even interested.

Tell her to try porn and you will film her audition tape. Also ask her if she can help me wire some money from Nigeria. I will make it worth her time.

Hell, I just typed Tru Talent into google and the word scam immediately popped up in the first line on the drop down box.

That doesn't mean a thing. There are people who go after these places no matter what the facts.

I did do a search on BBB.org, it's not an accredited business.

But HOW do I break it to her, KrazeeEyezKilla? This is like shattering her dreams and revealing she had her money stolen, that's pretty heavy ****.

BBB is nothing more than a worthless black mail agency. It's not like they're handing out official, accredited by the attorney's general certificates or anything.

It's 2 grand. What is she, some destitute Somali import or something? It's just $2000, or less than 4.5% the average annual wage. That's a 2.5 week mistake. Look at it that way. Either that, or grow some man parts and earn it back for her. Judging by your picture, you're obviously a modern day cowboy. Now giddyup ****.

Uhhh, Franklin, I've only been dating her for like three weeks, I'm not going to give her $2000. She's a college student, that's a huge sum of money.

The issue is that now she'll have her dreams shattered by ME. Yeeaaaahhrrrr.

There's no such thing as a "model" in SLC. Or the state of Utahr for that matter.

Other people are advising me not to tell her because she'll despise me for shattering her dream. I think this is kinda weird, because why? If anything, she'll like me more for doing that? Plus, it's probably the right thing to do?

I work with a number of people that fly into Salt Lake from all over the country and one of the more frequent comments that I hear is how many beautiful women there are in Salt Lake.

Then again, a bitter little troll such as yourself has probably been rejected by a woman from Salt Lake hence your comment.

Assuming she isn't a middle aged college lady, and beins how you look at least 55, I now think you're the coolest feller on this here board.

Then don't shatter her dreams. Talk her into getting some old fashioned heads hots ($50 - $100) and sending them out to casting directors. This is how it works in the industry. There's a big film industry here. Modeling and acting go hand in hand. One can springboard her into the other.

Start with the Utah Film Commission and go from there. Here's a list of casting directors and assistants (note: They're not automatically credible just by being on this list, but it's better than meeting some harry old dude in the mall foodcourt with an agency card. These people tend to have resumes). I guarantee she can get a few jobs as an extra, if nothing else. It's a start.

How about having one of your guy friends she's never met leave an anonymous message on her cell, saying something about the agency being a scam, etc., etc., etc. Or an "anonymous" note on her car.
