Your moral compass points to hell.

Dogs don't really raise their children. ruff ruff.
Dawgs, they aint got no morals, neither, eh, Archie?
Leave it to good ole Vinny to run round insultin people by suggestin they sumthin they aint, ya know?
I'm glad this story is being told. It's good time for it too, as November is Transgender Awareness Month. I've tried before to explain what it means to be transgender on this board, but will try some more.
Moe terms like himher or heshe are insulting to transgender people. Please don't try to push them.
A lot of people still seem to be confusing physical sex with gender identity. Yes my physical sex is still male (that will eventually be changed), but my gender identity is female. For the cisgender members of this board, consider this scenario. You know that you're gender is male/female and your physical sex matches. Yet other people insist on calling you the opposite (calling a male a female and a female a male). How would that make you feel? That is basically how it feels to be transgender.
As far as the subject of this article goes, he has every right to be referred to as a male. That is how they identify their own gender identity. His peers obviously accept him as a male. Yet some still have a problem with it? Why is it so hard to have respect for another human being and refer to them by their identified gender? I won't even get into Hopper's idiotic arguments. I'm not sure why I haven't added him to my ignore list yet, but he may soon be headed there.
What if sumbuddy calls a TG type "mixed up?" Would that be an insult?
You mention himher and heshe to be offensive. If I refer to a transgender person as a shim, is that as offensive or less offensive?
I would say it is offensive to refer to a transgender person with any pronoun other than that which matches their gender identity. So yes, I would find that offensive.

Do we teach kids in school to stop saying he/she (because of sex) until he or she understands which gender they identify with?
