You're right, we should talk about "the big game" between the Nuggs and the Hawks. I.e. the big tanking game. In November. Carry on.

Isn't that what you're talking about in this thread?

General NBA.

I wish Paul and AJ all the success. They deserve to be appreciated. I can't complain about either guy personally nor professionally. It was just time to move on. They have their flaws just like any player does but I will miss Millsap the most and consider him a Jazzman for life. Hopefully, the knucklehead jazz fans don't outweigh the majority of Jazz fans so when they come back to Utah they are give a nice ovation.

It would have been nice to have Paul on the team as our sixth man but he wanted more than the Jazz were willing to pay. It is complete nonsense that Millsap didn't try when he played for the Jazz. The guy played hurt and never complained. He use to get hit in the mouth two or three times a game and he just came back fighting. It isn't his fault that he is undersized. Millsap is exactly the type of player that Jazz fans should want. Go back and watch all the clutch shots he hit. Remember he was the 47th pick and he improved every year.

Where do you think Gordo and Favors are going to lead the Jazz?

To the worst record in the league and a top 3 pick in a loaded draft > average

Milsap sucks he's a midget that can't guard a short power foward. He's a cry baby I am so glad he is gone, boozer was way better than he ever was.

This is his normal routine, is it not? Let's see how he's holding up around game 30.

Yes it is. He usually starts wearing down around the 25-30 game mark. There were a couple of seasons as the starter I thought he'd make the all-star game, but then he went into long slumps.

The most under-appreciated Jazz player of all time.

Nah. That was CJ Miles.

I think most of us really loved the Millsap of 5-6 years ago, when he was still fighting for every loose ball. Last few he became more reliant on his jumper and just didn't have the impact that he used to. And last year - not entirely his fault, IMO - his attitude/demeanor was just terrible. Had the Jazz made the playoffs last season, that would have meant some of the veterans played very well. AS a result, I think Millsap, Mo, Foye and Carroll would have been re-signed. As it turned out, losing with the vets gave Lindsey the ammunition to argue his case for a full rebuild.

He is following an unorthodox career trajectory. He did not play well on his contract season, and after not getting paid well has started to put big numbers. Normally it's all opposite

Ty was a big reason he probably didn't play well. Milsap played amazingly with Favors, but Ty kept going Milsap/Jefferson.
