Jamaal Tinsley waived according to the internet

Jason Hart???

Oh lord, the Jason Hart 2-for-1's at the end of quarters... I'm having an anxiety attack just thinking about it.

That whole era of awful PGs blends together in my mind with Hart/Palacio/McCloud/Knight. I remember being down at the ESA and some little kid behind me asked his dad where the name "Palacio" came from. The dad said "it's Spanish for palace". After a few minutes of contemplation, the kid asks his dad what "Milt" meant. The dad says "it's Spanish for suck". Forevermore, he was known as The Suck Palace.

My vote is for Hart as worst of the bunch, but John Lucas the Turd might chuck his way into the lead before long. Best of luck Tins, you were a class act as a Jazzman.

I don't think it's an overexaggeration by proclaiming Jason Hart the worst PG in Utah Jazz/New Orleans Jazz History.

Whoever they bring in will be better than Lucas. Lucas may be the worst point guard the Jazz have ever had, and that is saying something.

Have you forgotten about Jason, the Fart, Hart? The Locust (I like that name) is probably somewhere between the Fart and Milt Palousio.

Young Minnesota players Derrick Williams and Alexey Shved are available in deals for veterans to help these T'wolves now, league executives told Yahoo Sports.
Let's make a trade to get Shved in exchange for Rush!

Right on!

Give Ian Clark a look
I know he hasn't yet been the shooter as advertised, but I attribute that to lack of playing time. During one game in pre-season, Corbin actually did something innovative: he moved G-Man to the 1 and inserted Ian (a very good defender) to guard the other team's PGs. By moving Gordon to the 1, that forces him to be aggressive, and it's a nightmarish match-up for any team. Let's see what Ian can do with 25 minutes a night -- I'm confident he'll find his shooting touch. By the way, could he be any worse that what we have until Trey returns>

I think there would be 100% agreement that if he isn't the worst, he's definitely in the conversation.

Interestingly, I thought that if the Jazz wanted a mature mentor for Burke, they could've just kept Tinsley as the 3rd PG, and found another veteran PG to be the backup. Instead they ditched Tinsley (who was a KOC "project") and brought in Lucas (Lindsey's man), plus they no longer have a 3rd PG which was a KOC policy. And KOC wouldn't have made a roster move unless he had a replacement already lined up, but it seems Lindsey expects Burks and/or Clark can act as the emergency PG. It looks like this move was a subtle power play on the part of Lindsey.

He should have cut John LuChuck III. Although Tinsley was 1-15 from deep, John LuChuck III is hardly better at 8-30 from deep and under 33% overall. But Tinsley got more assists (23 to 17) in HALF the minutes (110 to 226). Now, lets put that into a wider perspective: LuChuck gets a mere 2.1 assists/game, which is 2.7 assists/36 minutes. Compare that with last season's output from Al Jefferson, who also averaged 2.1 assists per game, getting 2.3 assists/36 minutes. Jason Hart has serious competition for top spot on the Worst Jazz PG list.

Utah needs to give Ian more chance on the floor. He will handsomize his game eventually. And he needs to become a backup for Trey Burke as soon as possible. What do they have to lose?

We should start Hayward at PG and let's see where he takes us.

Nothing to lose.

Favors
Kanter
Jefferson
Burks
Hayward

Let Hayward control the game/tempo, feed Burks only when he's in a scoring position so that he can't put up those "just inside the 3pt line" shots of his.

Since the tanking is in full mode, I'm available to play some minutes a game. How much is the minimum salary a player gets paid at the NBA? I hope it's more than what I'm making now.

We don't really have much to lose here. Lets do it.
