Rules are rules, bro, dumb or not is irrelevant. Once you signed on the dotted line, you've accepted the terms.
Doesn't stop me from mocking it in the jazzfanz official offtopic/draftprospect thread.

Word. But was it really his basketball ability that caused him to hit that half-court shot?
Pretty sure it contributed to it. I mean it was a basketball not a football. It was a basketball court not a soccer filed. And it was a basketball hoop not a hoola hoop.
I'd argue it was luck. Would his chances of hitting a half-court be much substantially higher than mine? Maybe, but maybe not
Ummm, we ain't in Germany... or any other city in Asia for that matter.
In Germany such a rule would probably be void as it's a one sided agreement.
WTF is a one sided agreement?
The reason the NCAA is a complete joke is the selective enforcement. It's disgusting and they're completely corrupt. (and that's coming from a fan of a team that has zero violations in 25 years)
Steph Curry played 148 "clutch" regular season minutes in 2012-13, shot 37% and 28% on 3s.
These guys practice the half-court shots ALL THE TIME. In fact it's the main reason they turn up to practices in the first place.
Just ask PKM and DeMarcus Cousins.
A broad generalization is not a good defense for a specific event pertaining to one individual
But you can't exclude the fact that the guy doesn't practice half-court shots when he goes to practice.
