GAME THREAD: Jazz Take What Talents They Have To Miami 12/16/13 5:30

Alec "slick pimp" Burks bitches

Amazing that he scored 31 and didnt ball hog.
He was making all the right passes (7 assists), grabbed a few rebounds, 4 steals.
Basically a perfect game on offense

He did get abused by d-wade but that is expected..... plus dwade got abused by alec on the other end plenty.

Fun to see miami doubling Burks and Kanter.

The play when burks made the baseline reverse backwards shot, I saw lebron looking at alec after the shot with an expression like holy ****, who is this bad *** ****

Hayward line for the night.... Rofl

27 Min, 2-8 shooting, 0-4 from 3 ball land... 5 turnovers and 7 points
C'mon man, take it easy on him. 8 games from now, he'll break out of this slump with a great game and the "Is Hayward is God?" thread will spring to life.
.
GO SEAHAWKS!!!!

Clearly, one game proves that.

Since The Jazz have been playing "better" I think it's pretty clear Burks and Favors have been the best players on the team.

I like Hayward a lot - I think he gets a bad rap here because they're trying to make him something he's not. He's a solid second option or a great third option. He's just not a first option.

Burks sure looked like a first option last night.

Lebron, wade, ray allen, norris cole, and chris bosh all took turns guarding him and couldn't stop him.

Then they tried doubling him.... that didn't work.

Even saw him score against the triple team too.

Seemed like the jazz got to a point where a lot of the time they just gave the ball to burks and said go to work and it almost always ended in a bucket for burks or a teammate. (3 of burks misses ended in offensive rebound putbacks by team mate cause burks was drawing so much attention..... and one of his misses he stole the ball right back and got a layup). They should have had the ball in burks hands even more tbh.

I remember hearing last fall camp that in practices no one on the jazz could stay in front of alec.

Maybe its time to start him and make him the #1 option..... maybe that would take the pressure off of hayward and he could play better

He has been getting the ball at the end of quarters lately. He has earned 38-40 mpg, will Ty let him have them?
