Indy beats KC

I really really want KC to win, but it seems like the Chiefs and Colts are trending in opposite directions. Also wouldn't surprise me if KC just absolutely crushed the Colts doe. Kinda wannna pick Chiefs now tbh.

N.O. beats Philly

The Saints hate has gone too far! I think Drew Brees shuts everyone up about the cold weather ish and goes OFF against a pourous D. This is a prime example of why I'm a horrible sports bettor. Instead of following trends, I'm always looking for the trend to break lol. Btw, I'll be rooting for the Eagles. Kinda like em for some reason.

That comeback was insane. To be fair, it was a lot less KC's defense folding as it was Andrew Luck and one particular receiver taking over the game and going crazy.
 
Not that there should have been any doubt in the Colts taking Luck and getting rid of Manning, but any of those were erased today. Luck is going to be the man for the next 10 years or so.
 
I have a question about clock management at the end of games..

Im watching the Saints game. Saints have ball driving down the field about to kick the winning field and attempt to waste the clock in the process. Saints run a play at about 2:30 left. They get the first. Eagles have one time out. Instead of calling timeout right then. They decide to use there last time out after the two minute warning which the Saints took the clock down to.

My question is, why would you wait to call the timeout? If you call timeout right then at about 2:20. Then the Saints run their first down play at 2:20 and then their 2nd down play at the 2 min mark. Instead they lose 6 seconds by having the Saints run the first down play at 2 min, and 2nd down at 1:54 after they call their final timeout. 6 seconds is pretty big. Its one more play possibly. It was obvious what was going on too. Saints were only running the ball and were in field goal range. At that point, you have to assume they will make the field goal, and you are gonna need time to score. It didnt matter in the end because the Eagles couldn't stop them from draining the clock. But its still a mistake imo

I dont get it. I see this same mistake on regular basis in the NFL. What am I missing?

Alex Smith was an absolute stud today.

Sucks to have Jamaal Charles go down on the first drive of the game, then have guys dropping like flies the rest of the game.
