Burks is our best scorer for sure. He can eat bad defenses alive, and has his games against even the top defenses.
For all the hate Corbin gets, don't we kind of have to applaud him for his development of Burks? I know he doesn't get as many minutes as he should, but Corbin has reinforced a lot of good characteristics into Burks.

He has certainly grown into a complete player with good composure. Maybe Ty's development worked. Don't know.
Save money on Hayward and offer it to Burks. Burks is our best player and has been most of the year. He is still playing off the bench. That alone should get Ty fired. We almost lost this game because Ty took out Burks and didn't bring him back in until the game was tied.
Did anyone else hear StanVanGundy's interview where he said Hayward shouldn't get more than 6 million. He said he probably would get more, but shouldn't. I'm really starting to believe that my original estimate 10 million is way to high.

What are proper minutes? His per 36 isn't any better than Hayward really. I don't think Burks has the same level of ability as Harden does.

It is emabarassing. Like him, but he needs to figure the game out at this level.
We can be intellectually honest. Burks wasn't on that path when he got to Utah. He was a good one-on-one player who lacked defensive focus, perimeter shooting, or a team concept.
I still believe Corbin is a great player development coach. His rotations and gameplan are lacking, but he can develop players. Pretty sure that was his calling card as an assistant.
